Arcane Archer fix for the penetration of the imbued spells.
2 Companions: Bird and Hawk.
"Gunhawk" subclass unlocked.
- Permissions and credits
The Arcane Archer mod fixes the lacking of penetration scaling for the imbued spells: "Minoletta's Missiles", "Fireball" and "Death Ring".
The penetration will scale like for regular casters: bonus from ability level + added penetration for each power level beyond the ability level unlocked.
For empowering it's a bit tricky because imbue is an ability, so the spell would get a +2.5 bonus penetration instead of +1.25 like should be a regular empowered spell. To maintain consistency the empowered imbue will get half malus (for the part of the spell).
IMPORTANT: If you have already created an arcane archer remember to respec or the fix won't work.
2 companions for the ranger: bird and hawk. The bird has the same skin of Maia's one.
The name of the pet given at the character creation will be showed in game.
The "Gunhawk" subclass is unlocked at the character creation.
- INSTALLATION -
The mod has customized descriptions, it's not advisable to change the structure of the mod directories in it.
Find where the game is installed "...\Games\Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data", create a new directory "override" (if there isn't).
Extract the folder of the mod in the "override" directory.
If there is a previous version of this mod, just delete it before extracting.
Be sure the final path is something like this: "...\Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\folderOfTheMod\localized".
IMPORTANT: quit and restart the game if PoE was running during the installation of the mod, don't trust the refresh button of the mod manager in game!
- UNINSTALL -
Just delete the folder of the mod.
- UPGRADE -
If there is a previous version of this mod, just delete it before extracting.
