Q:Help I'm missing icons and I'm getting "missing string ####" instead of titles! A: This probably happens because the main file can't find the description/icon files.
How did you copy the files? For example, you need to copy the whole "DozensLuck" folder to the "override" folder. So the file path should look like this: "Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\DozensLuck". The correct folder structure matters quite a lot here.
Q: How do I get the talents? A: You install the mods that you want and you get the talents next time you load a game. That's it. UPDATE Uploaded 2.0 versions with added localisations in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Russian. (DE, EN, ES, FR, IT, PL, RU)
Does this mod work with Vortex? It does give me the option to download using my mod manager, but it doesn't seem to work right? Sorry for the stupid question. I'm still figuring out modding.
It is meant to be installed manually, but in theory it should still work fine. Maybe? I wrote it to check if you have the abilities or not, so it shouldn't give you multiple versions of the same thing.
But I would still recomend you do it manually, just to be safe.
That is probably because the installation directory is wrong and the main file can't read the other files. Can you give me the filepath where you installed it?
So, followed all instructions but got the missing string #### instead of titles thing. Checked the folders and everything seems to be there, Any suggestions, cause love the mod, but the missing lines destroys my mind.........
Thing is that it`s only general award and scale breaker that gives #### as now. Effigys is alright......
K:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\Override\General Reward Talents\BloodedHunter-script In this folder i got Design, Localized, manifest and thumb.........
Love the mod! No issues, everything works as described. Was wondering though, would you be willing to add a few cut talents as an optional set of downloads? Particularly Wael's Boon, Woedica's Boon (Soul-Power), and Gift of Hope?
* Wael's Boon was originally supposed to be added in if player agreed to devote souls per Wael's wishes during first game.
* Soul-Power was data mined from Deadfire, intended for players who gave souls to Woedica from original game.
* Gift of Hope was pulled from Deadfire as well, intended for players who forgo-ed both the Skael Pool, and didn't take the Gift from the Machine bonus during the Heritage Hill questline.
No worries either way, figured I'd ask in any case.
More info here btw: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/102230-unavailable-content-research-lets-discuss/
So I finally got around to it and uploaded "Gift of Hope" and "Wael's Boon". There is already a mod for "Soul-Power", so unless there is anything wrong with the mod I'm not going to make another version of it.
Meaning if you play in another language then the talent descriptions should still show in English. The translation process is not handled automaticly by the game, but I guess it would be possible to try and copy the different stringtables and add them to each mod manually.
What language are you interested in? I might try it, but no promises.
Uploaded 2.0 versions with added localisations in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Russian. Both games handle it mostly the same way (same folder structure and same type of stringtables).
How are these gained? Will they be there from when you create a new character, are they acquired when you do A Distant Light, or do you have to add them manually via console?
So I'm a bit late and I assume that by now you have already figured out what you need. This is more for anybody else who has the same question. You install the mods that you want and you get the talents next time you load a game. That's it.
Maybe you could think about making Scalebreaker a free cast for turnbase mode. Or tell me for what i have to look out in notepad/jstoolto change it myself.
So I have been away for a while, but I'm back. I know this has already been answered by now, but I just want to reiterate that everything should work just fine. But I'll start going over the mod just to be sure.
I hope you liked it, and I'll try finish this mod and polish it up a bit (and release some new ones).

Edit: Never mind then, just read the sticky.
WinRar worked with the NoForcedRest mod from another author.
Never mind. Had a very old version installed. Works with an updated version.

If you are interested then I could probably add them as a new mod.

Are the TalkTable IDs in Deadfire the same as in PoE1?

Again anyway thank you.
