    any chance you could add some of the weapons? That soulbound rod that charmed on hit was ftw.

      Not at the moment. The mod's original idea is to add some of PoE1 accessories only.

      The reasoning being:

      • there are very few decent'ish accessories in Deadfire for a 5-man party
      • there are already many weapons in Deadfire; and adding new ones would either compete with them in terms of power and balance; or be of little use (and thus why put an effort into that)

      Hey, MaxQuest.

      Love this mod. Spoils of Caed Nua + PoE items for Deadfire - is best mods for POE2 by my opinion (also Community Patch and PoE1 Ability and Talent restoration).

      There is definitely a lack of rings in POE2 for all companions and sidekicks.

      Will you create next version of your mod with Iron Circle , Ring of Changing Heart , Wyrwood Ring , Orlan's Bramble Ring , Snerf's Folly and Frigid Claim ? :)

    I used one to help understand what BMac was saying using the ModScriptHookGameData object to put an item into your inventory at the start of the game.

    Hi MaxQuest,

    The Immobilized when Hit or Crit from the Binding Rope does not appear to be working. Could you double-check?

      Fixed it.

      I've included the fixed file for download in my new mod, though it's just the item file and it still requires Spoils of Caed Nua to work.

      If you come back around, give me a holler and I'll hand over file for inclusion in Spoils of Caed Nua, then remove it from my mod's page.

    Yeah I;'m getting lots of missing string errors with this mod...not sure whats up.

      So I had the same issue, then as I went hunting around I discovered that the missing strings means that it cant find the information requested. Upon further hunting, the issue is because you probably didnt extract it directly to the folder and the mod is in a sub-folder inside the mod folder in the override. That was my issue, and once I moved it up the strings issue went away :)

      @MaxQuest I can't speak for everyone but I would bet that this is the string issue some people are reporting.

      Could be it, but can't say for sure either.
      My path to localized files looks as follows: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\SpoilsOfCaedNua\localized\And I never managed to replicate the missing strings issue.

      P.S. This mod uses ids in the 131320000 .. 131340004 range. So if some other mod uses same ids, there could be conflict.

    Mod still not working with v5.0.0.0040.

    Which is a damn shame, because so many items being cut between PoE1 and PoE2 was criminal.

      Could you elaborate on the issue you have? And what platform/language do you use, etc?

      For example:
      - version: v5.0.0.0040 LAX123ABCDEFGHI[TB]
      - platform: Steam
      - ui language: English
      - mod path: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override\SpoilsOfCaedNua

    In Deadfire version 5.0.0.0040, instead of the names of the following items I'm seeing:

    *Missing string 131300016* for the Crossed Patch.
    Its Additional Effects description names display:
    *Missing string 131310013* instead of "Inaccurate"
    *Missing string 131310014* instead of "Blind Immunity"
    *Missing string 131310015* instead of "Sneak Attack Bonus". The actual description for this also displays *Missing string 131340004* instead of "+10 to Flanked targets".

    *Missing string 131300018* for the Coil of Resourcefulness.
    Its Additional Effects description names display:
    *Missing string 131310016* instead of "Stalker".
    *Missing string 131310017* instead of "Fast Draw"
    *Missing string 131310018* instead of "Of Dexterity".

    *Missing string 131300024* for the Seal of Faith.
    Its Additional Effects description name displays:
    *Missing string 131310021* instead of "Seal of Faith".

    The actual description text for all of the above (e.g. "+1 casts with Level 1 spells, +1 casts with Level 3 spells" for the Seal of Faith) displays fine, though, apart from the one noted for the Crossed Patch.

    Hi MaxQuest :)

    I would like to request a few more items, if you're interested in adding them: Marked Amulet, Wyrwood Ring, Greenstained Boots, Glittering Gauntlets.

    By the way, are you using the original icons from PoE for these items? IIRC Obsidian extracted all of them from the first game and made them available to modders over here at the Nexus.

      Glittering Gauntlets are too strong for Deadfire in my opinion. Other 3 items are fine and I'll consider adding them. But at the moment I have other 3 mods in progress, so it will have to wait...

      Regarding icons: yeah I found those) And am using them starting from v1.1.0 I think.

      What exactly is the problem?

      I have checked the v1.1.4 version of the mod with the latest v4.1.2.0047 version of the game, and it is working fine for me.
