Because Spell Casters aren't powerful enough already, right?  Right? ... OK OK they are.  But sometimes you just want MOAR POWER.

This mod gives Druids, Priests and Wizards more spell castings per power level.  I tried to make it somewhat balanced, as there still is a degree of progression, and you still have to manage your spells.

The progression is as follows:

1. For known "old" power levels, you get 3 spells per encounter.

2. For "New" power levels that you just gain access to, you still only get 1 spell, like vanilla.

3. For "New-ish" power levels, you only get 2.

4. For Level 1, you get 4 spells per encounter.  Like Cantrips really.

So, let's say you just gained access to level 5 spells, you would have the following spells per power level:

4, 3, 3, 2, 1

Once you get access to Level 6 spells, it would look like this:

4, 3, 3, 3, 2, 1

And so on and so on.  I break the rule at Level 9, where you immediately get access to two spells.

I mostly did this to free up more liberal use of Empowering to increase damage, rather than wasting it on refreshing spells.  But also because in POE 1 and other games like BG2, when you made the choice to unload your entire spellbook, Mages and Sorcerers were unstoppable fonts of destruction.  In POE2, when you really need to turn it up and not hold back, I felt like they were a bit hamstrung.

Installation:
Unzip to your favorite directory
Copy the folder "More Spells Per Encounter" to "Your_Path\Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\Override"
If you do not have an "Override" folder in "Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\," create one!

Compatibility:

I altered a minimal number of lines of code, so unless your mod also directly modifies the number of spell castings per level in characters.gamedatabundle, then it should be fine.

If you really want to know, I altered lines 19411-19427, 19760-19777 and 19995-20011 of characters.gamedatabundle

If people want, I can make alternative versions, the coding is pretty easy to modify.  Please let me know!

If you want to use this code in your own mod, please feel free, but give me credit.
