Gives companions a new set of starting classes.

Changelogs
Alternate Class Features is a set of individual small mods that replace the starting class possibilities for Deadfire's companions and sidekicks with fitting alternatives. In some cases, subclass choices have been changed, while in others, entirely new class combinations have been added. The options for each companion can be installed separately.

The provided options are meant to match well with the characters, but also be convenient and interesting to use, and provide the player with alternate members of underrepresented classes. Most are multiclass options. They are not 100% optimal powergaming combos.

Some companions will have a second, alternate version of their file (labelled v2) that incorporates appropriate subclasses created by other modders whose work I admire (with permission, of course). At present, this is limited to the excellent More Priest Subclasses by NocturnalTrance and New Wizard Subclasses by GravitonGamer. You will need to download and install the subclass mods in question for the new companion subclass to work. v2 files may also include fitting or interesting combinations that I couldn't fit in the main file.

At present, ACF supports Eder, Xoti, Konstanten, Serafen, and Maia. Others will be forthcoming. Here are their new options:

Eder

Fighter (Unbroken) / Priest (Eothas)
Rogue (Trickster) / Priest (Eothas)

Installation

Place the mod folder in your game directory, in the folder "PillarsofEternityII_Data/Override". If you don't have a folder called "override," create one. You will then be able to switch the mod on-and-off from the title screen's Options menu, under the Mod Manager.

Once a companion has joined the party, you should be able to turn off the mod without any effect.

Once again: if you are using the v2 file for a companion, you must have the subclass mod supporting it installed for it to work.

Issues:

Because of the apparent limits of the class-selection GUI, the default choices will not be accessible while the mod for that companion is enabled, and you will not be able to simultaneously use the default and v2 versions of a companion's files. If you want to use a normal option, just turn that companion's ACF file off in the mod manager. If you want to switch versions, turn off the one you don't want and turn on the one you do.

These mods will be incompatible with any other mods that alter the progression tables for the companions in question. Don't try to use them at the same time.

Do not use automatic companion leveling while these mods are enabled. Things will be weird and break. This is a solvable issue, but I do not consider it a priority because you shouldn't be using automatic leveling anyway. I'll get to it when I get to it.
