08/04/2015 Some users prefers to have Smaa disable because the text are smother so I just added a version without smaa, feel free to test both and chose the one you prefer.
I’ve tested few Reshade profiles but none of those that I’ve tested is only enhancing graphics, it changes the color palette and the feeling that the game provide making it too warm for me.
So I’ve started to do one for myself that only make the game sharper and bring more details to it without changing the ambiance of the game. After many hours of tweaking every settings, here it is and I wanted to share it :)
How to install It
I’ll try to describe the installation process step by step for those who aren’t familiar with this kind of tools
-Go Here
-Select the latest sweetfx 2.0 (should be near the top) an click on download
-Uncompress it on your desktop
-Run reshade setup
-Click on select game and let the Auto detect mode
-Select the folder where the game in installed (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pillars of Eternity\ for the steam version)
-Select PillarsOfEternity.exe the click on open
-Once its done, download the preset from the file tab on this page
-Uncompress is the copy and paste it in the Sweetfx folder located in your pillars of eternity folder
-Enjoy!
