About this mod

This mod allows (most of the) spiritshift abilities of each forms to be activated instantaneously without actively pausing the game to make the real-time combat more immersive instead of real-pause-time.

I don't know how many people are still playing Pillars of Eternity for their enjoyment or for nostalgia but hopefully this mod will be useful anyway. What this mod does is change most of the spiritshift abilities into 'modal' and/or passive so as not to encumber players into pausing most of the time. The reason is because while the AI of the game is adequate, in most scenarios abilities of spiritshift forms are not recognized as 'Druid' abilities resulting in the need for players to actively pause to activate these once or twice per rest abilities. Changes made are the following:

Modal Druid Bear Terrifying Roar;
Modal Druid Cat Flurry Attack;
Passive Druid Stag Carnage Attack.

The way the mod works is that as soon as the Watcher has spiritshifted for the first time, especially for Druid Watchers taking Bear or Cat form, players will STILL be required to activate the ability ONCE. After the ability has been regained from resting, next time the Druid Watcher transforms you will see both Bear and Cat Druid Watchers immediately activating their ability.

I tried to find a work around so the AI can recognize Stag form Carnage Attack ability to be recognized by the game but efforts have been met with dead end. So, to ensure thematic consistency with its more martially inclined counterpart, a.k.a. Barbarian Class, the Carnage Attack ability has been reworked to be a passive instead of a once per rest ability. Players will see Stag Druid Watchers deal damage with their melee attack when dealing with crowds as soon as they start fighting either Glanfathan Hunters in the encampment tutorial or the groups of enemies in Valewood.

The way to install is simply by extracting the zip files, copying, and pasting them into the objectbundle folder in the path:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\assetbundles\prefabs\objectbundle

GOG players will undoubtedly have identical folder structure.

As is the case with any Unity3D files, make backups in case you want to revert back to the default state.

Notes:
The modification to Cat Flurry Attack should work with Hiravias' Stelgaer form ability, if not let me know;
No changes have been made to Boar and Wolf Spiritshift abilities;
Wolf form's Knockdown ability is a bit difficult to rework, that is why it has been left as it is for now.

Future plan:
Reworking Wolf form's Knockdown ability;
Changing the Ranger's Stag Animal Companion Carnage Attack ability into passive to ensure consistency.
