Changelogs
Version 1
Added optional file with fast casting speeds
The Cipher is awesome, and its spells are some of the most interesting and creative abilities in the game. I just wanted them to not miss as often, as even with high Perception, they'll still graze quite a lot. That's where this mod comes in. It, very simply, increases the accuracy of all Cipher spells by +25%.
Cipher spells from the White March I and II are included, but the expansions aren't required. Said spells will simply not show up if they're not installed. --> This mod changes Reaping Knives too. I've added the same +25 Accuracy to the weapons themselves, meaning they'll be much more useful.
This goes both for direct spells, spells that have AoE effects, and spells that jump. See the example below for clarification.
Eyestrike (vanilla)- Shocks an enemy's visual receptors, Dazing and Blinding them as well as Blinding nearby targets.
Target: Blinded for 10 sec, Dazed for 10.0 sec (+10 Accuracy vs Fortitude)
Foe AoE: Blinded for 10.0 sec (+5 Accuracy vs Fortitude)
Eyestrike (modded) - Shocks an enemy's visual receptors, Dazing and Blinding them as well as Blinding nearby targets.
Target: Blinded for 10 sec, Dazed for 10.0 sec (+35 Accuracy vs Fortitude)
Foe AoE: Blinded for 10.0 sec (+30 Accuracy vs Fortitude)
Yes, this can definitely be overpowered. But, as always, keep in mind enemy Ciphers will be more dangerous now, too, as this is not player-exclusive. You might want to be well prepared when entering Skaen's temple with this installed.
Installation Replace the .unity3D files in "Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\assetbundles\prefabs\objectbundle" with the modded files.
