Most (all?) Companions 18 all Attributes.
Bounus - animal_companion_armor - buffed = DamageThreshhold = 12 and DamageReduction = 6

Install:
The path to the files is:
Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\assetbundles\prefabs\objectbundle
In the folder called Objectbundle are each of the companion files. I.e. companion_aloth.unity3d
You need to Rename each of the vanilla files for backup. I.e. companion_aloth.unity3d.orig
Do this for all or just the few you want to use.
Then copy the modified files in this mod to Objectbundle.
If you get a popup to Overwrite, you forgot to rename the default file(s).
You should not overwrite any files because you want them as backups.
Start your game, check your NPC(s).
Uninstall:
Reverse order of Install.
Delete any companion files you added, then rename any backups.
