Could you make a version of this mod for PoE2 ?

Since attributes changed on companions via console commands don't save when you load the game again, this is the perfect workaround for being able to do so as long as I launch the game this way every time. Thanks so much!

To those who cannot run the game with patchwork launcher, there is a solution.Download IE Mod for Pillars of Eternity from Nexus, then extract

the patchwork launcher files from it into a new folder (named Patchwork

Launcher for example). Then launch the patchwork launcher .exe and point

it into the game directory location of pillars of eternity.Boom! the

launcher works and launches the game as usual.I also couldn't launch the

game and it kept saying appinfo.dll not found.I had even downloaded the

zip files from official release site, but the above file was missing in

it.This is not a be all solution. This worked for me,so it may work for

      you.

    Epic Store version won't work.
I got this game free on the Epic Store giveaway. None of these mods that use patchwork launcher seem to work with this Epic Store version, only the Steam version it seems like.

I get an ArgumentNullException error when the patchwork launcher is launching & patching the game with mods enabled. The DLL's being patched must differ somehow in these store versions, I dunno really, just my best guess as a layman.

After the error popup the game launches as normal but without any mods. Here is my log text if it helps?

could a mod like this be made for PoE 2?

    For what it's worth:

I had to create a subfolder for the PoE .exe file (titled it 'exe') and then placed the data folder and .exe file in that subfolder. When the mod launcher asks for the path to the exe file, select the created subfolder.

From there, do as the other comment said and select the mod from the folder generated inside the Patchwork launcher's folder.

The patchwork launcher doesn't work. I've followed the very basic instructions and I get nothing but errors. Don't waste your time trying to install this mod.

      It's working for me.
Following the instructions resulted in a bunch of errors from the patchwork launcher until I un-activated the mod and then activated it from the newly created 'mod' folder in the patchwork launcher folder.

As a side note I copied the two mod files from this site into the pillars of eternity game folder (probably unnecessary).
You do have to keep launching it from the patchwork launcher for NPC's to continue with respeced attributes.

Are you getting errors after patchwork launcher asks to point to the game folder? If so try this...
Point to "\PillarsOfEternity\win" folder because that's where the game exe is located. I was getting loads of errors too until I tried that.

Sadly I have other problems because I got the Epic Store version but this solution may work for you if you got the Steam version

I'm getting "missing GUI" when installing the mod. Anyone know the reason for this?

    3.07.0. 1318
    Win 10

Patchwork and IE properly installed, and the patch goes though without any issue on the test run. Game start up fine, just says missing gui instead of the menu options (continue, load, save, options, etc)

Can this be done without the patchwork launcher? can the two .dlls be copied to the correct game folder or no? Mods that require launchers are just not worth it.
