Changes the New Jerichos Technician Arms to do 18 points of paralysing damage like the item originally says it does, while it was originally 180 Stun damage. Also, as a precaution, the arms do 10 normal damage and 40 piercing damage, so the paralyse effect can actually be applied.

Starfield is almost here! We can't wait to join Constellation and explore the stars on 1 September and we're even more excited about the potential for mods the game has. Sim Settlements in Space? Yes, please. A whole new perk overhaul? Don't mind if we do. A mod that turns all planets into sandwiches? Sure! Today we're going to talk about the Starfield Community Patch Project which serves to collect and fix any bugs in the base game.
The idea of a community patch for Starfield isn'...- 414 Comments

The future of Vortex and the Nexus Mods app
Back in October 2022, we announced the arrival of Tim (Halgari) to the Nexus Mods team. We touched briefly on the future of Vortex and potential 2.0 updates. Things went a bit ‘stealth mode’ after that, so now it’s time to give more of an update on how the team has developed and how we see the next generation of mod management. This is going to be a long one, so buckle up!
A brief history of Vortex
Development of Vortex first began all the way back in 2016. At...- 429 Comments

Fallout 4: Game of the Year released on GOG
A DRM-free version of Fallout 4: Game of the Year edition is now available from GOG.com, making it the latest title in the Fallout franchise to get the Good Old Games treatment. Just like with the release of Skyrim back in September 2022, we've managed to get our mitts on the game a few days early to help our friends at GOG to make this version as modding-friendly as possible.
You might be wondering what's different about this release compared to the versions ava...- 75 Comments

Baldur’s Gate 3 Modding Update
Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios has exploded out of early access into full launch like an enraged dwarf through a bar door, and we are loving this game! With over 1 million mod downloads since launch (4 days ago), it’s clear the game is already a community favourite on Nexus Mods. Our Vortex game extension has been updated since going from Early Access to Full Launch, allowing for general mod management through Vortex (this will auto-update and require a restart of Vortex).

Morrowind May Modathon and Skywind Gameplay Preview
It's the 21st anniversary of the release of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind today. If it were a person in the USA it would be old enough to buy a round of drinks to celebrate with us! While that might be a fantasy, we've got two Morrowind-themed announcements from the community to mark another year of the game that started it all here at Nexus Mods.
The annual Morrowind May Modathon kicks off today and there's also a new sneak peek at the latest progress on the Skywind project whi...- 47 Comments

AI-Generated Content in Modding
The recent advances in AI technology have been a hot topic in the community and the gaming industry as a whole over the past few months and we're getting more and more questions from you about how we feel about it.
TL:DR - AI-generated mod content is not against our rules, but may be removed if we receive a credible complaint from an affected creator/rights holder. If you're not the creator/rights holder, we ask that you don't submit file reports.
We've had a lot of d...- 610 Comments

Upcoming maintenance: 9 January 2023
On 9 January 2023 we will be performing scheduled maintenance which will mean the entire site as well as our forums will be unavailable for a time. Please note that this will also affect the functionality of mod managers - downloads, updates, endorsements etc. (anything that requires interaction with our website and API). As we will be migrating our database to an upgraded system, we aim for this process to take several hours, but to be on the safe side please expect the site to be down for some...

We're super excited to announce that starting next week Halgari - the tool developer best known for the Wabbajack mod list downloader - will become the latest addition to our team here at Nexus Mods. Acting as the Product Manager for Vortex, he will be focusing on the development of the mythical 2.0 update, which is still very much in the planning stages but will make our mod manager even better.
