About this mod

Reduces the rate at which stats change with each level. Lowers the supply cost of part upgrading and increases the max upgrade number to 10. Additionally, reduces the bonuses/penalties for concussion damage, heat and status effect buildup from level difference. Has alternate versions, one of them removes level scaling completely.

Permissions and credits
NOTE: As of mod version 1.2 and game version 1.3.2, configEdits have some issues, which cause upgrade cost changes to no apply. It should be fixed in the next game hotfix, according to devs. Level scaling is applied correctly (including no scaling version)

This mod has 3 versions: Slower Leveling, Slower Leveling (Infinite upgrades), No leveling.
Vanilla scaling:
  • Kinetic damage: +25% of base value per level.
  • Integrity: +25% of base value per level.
  • Barrier: +25% of base value per level.
  • Concussion/Heat damage and Status Effect buildup: +-25% for each level of difference between weapon and armor level, capped at 10% and 250% for concussion and 10% and 200% for Heat and Status Effect buildup.
  • Each part can be upgraded 3 times, with 50% cost increase between each upgrades.
Slower Leveling:
  • Kinetic damage: +10% of base value per level.
  • Integrity: +10% of base value per level.
  • Barrier: +10% of base value per level.
  • Concussion/Heat damage and Status Effect buildup: +-10% for each level of difference between weapon and armor level, capped at 50% and 150%.
  • Each part can be upgraded 10 times, with 10% cost increase between each upgrades. Reduced base cost [Base cost changed don't work in 1.3.2 game version].
Slower Leveling (Infinite upgrades):
  • Kinetic damage: +10% of base value per level.
  • Integrity: +10% of base value per level.
  • Barrier: +10% of base value per level.
  • Concussion/Heat damage and Status Effect buildup: +-10% for each level of difference between weapon and armor level, capped at 50% and 150%.
  • Each part can be upgraded unlimited number of times*, with fixed cost for each upgrade. Reduced base cost [Base cost changed don't work in 1.3.2 game version].
No Leveling:
  • Kinetic damage: no change from level.
  • Integrity: no change from level.
  • Barrier: no change from level.
  • Concussion/Heat damage and Status Effect buildup: no change from difference between weapon and armor level.
  • Part upgrading is disabled due to its obsolescence in this version. 
* - I can't actually remove the limit and upgrade window breaks if I set it too high, so I've set it to 140 upgrades.

Installation:
Download the version you want and unpack it to AppData\Local\PhantomBrigade\Mods folder. Activate the mod in the mods menu and restart the game.

Should be compatible with existing saves, your gear will change its stats after game restart.
