About this mod
This makes things more expensive/you sell items for less money. The highest difficulty (Brutal) should give you the "first playthrough" experience even on a replay.
- Permissions and credits
There are 3 files.
Hard mode increases the ruble cost and the barter cost of most items in the game. Most non-food items sell for only their base value. (i.e. Pocket Watch sells for 400 the whole game and never increases to 1000 later)
Very hard mode is the same, but more extreme. (i.e. apple slice/egg for 7/8 favor instead of 4/5)
Brutal is the most extreme.
To use, just copy the Action.xml file from whichever folder you want (backup the original Action.xml if you want) into "Pathologic 2\Data\VirtualMachine\PathologicSandbox". That's it.
To uninstall, delete the modded Action.xml and replace with your backup, or verify the game files on Steam.
This will work without restarting your game, but ruble costs will only be adjusted once you hit midnight, and this is best used on a new game.
If you get stuck on the new game loading screen, start a new game and finish the tutorial with the default Action.xml file, quit, replace it, then load your
save.
