This is a story mod trying to incorporate my fanfiction ideas into the game. It's not much content, so the experience is just base game with occasional new dialog options. The most substantial change is Diurnal bad-ending variant dialogs if you turn off Intended Difficulty.

Wolves are also thematically important, and come up a lot.

This mod is a compilation of my fanfiction ideas. And I’m out of ideas, so I decided it’s done.

The idea for this mod came from my personal experience playing the game. 
I played on Intended Difficulty first, then did a second playthrough on the easiest difficulty settings.
On the first playthrough, I didn’t waste time showing bull blood to Dankovsky, I died 10 times in the Abattoir, and I couldn't administer prophylaxis to everyone. So a lot of people died at the end. But I managed to save the kids. And I remember collapsing into sleep, at the limits of exhaustion, feeling very fulfilled.
Then, on the next playthrough, I put it on the easiest difficulty. I had the foresight needed to play efficiently. I saw everything I hadn’t before. I managed to save everyone. I never died once. And I didn't feel like a human. 

This mod is intended for people who'd want to replay the game again. More specifically, playing an Intended Difficulty run and a Cheat run. The Intended Difficulty run will basically be the original game (with a few exceptions), and the Cheat run leads to a Diurnal bad-end variation.

This is my first time modding and I only figured out the dialog system, so all the new content is dialog-based. And this is very much fanfiction writing. Apologies if my Artemy characterization is bad. I decided to write him very annoying.

For this mod, I added things I would've wanted to say, and a backstory explaining why Artemy can randomly change the difficulty settings. It's because he's a werewolf, or something.

The premise of this mod is Artemy was a wolf in a past life, and changing Intended Difficulty turns him into a werewolf-thing.
This is a very confusing and cringy premise, and I don't think the mod explains it very well, so sorry for that.

I just thought wolves were a good motif to add to the themes of the game. 

Humans and wolves used to live very similar lives, which is why I think they’ve been both our companions and rivals throughout time.
Then, in the 20th century, many parts of the world started large-scale wolf extermination campaigns. Wolves became locally extinct, and humans gained full control over whether they'd be allowed to exist. And wolves aren’t the most sympathetic animal, but I do think there’s something tragic in all of that.

I also just thought Artemy was wolflike.

This is just some small personal fanfiction content, but it's posted in case someone might get something out of it.
