For anyone else having problems having getting audio mods working in patch 1.2, here's how a quick bandage fix.
The problem is that Patch 1.2 changed where the audio files for the game are being loaded. The main character audio files have been combined and the new combined audio files are located in the Packages folder.
1) Navigate to "SteamApps\common\Pathfinder Second Adventure\Wrath_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\GeneratedSoundBanks\Windows/Packages" 2) Backup all "Wrath_Main_Ambs_CH#.pck" The "#" symbol is not part of the file name it's a placeholder for number. There should be 5 "Wrath_Main_Ambs_CH" pck files numbered from 1-5, backup all 5 of them. 3) Delete all 5 "Wrath_Main_Ambs_CH#" The game should now default back to loading audio files from the original directory.
I don't have the time or the tools right now to open and examine the contents of the new files. It's possible Owlcat has changed how the audio clips are numbered, so your audio mods may not work at all or may only be partially functional. I've tried with 4 audio mods and as far as I can tell they work fine and the game functions normally.
Exercise caution, you plan to play through the new DLC. Since these are just audio files I doubt removing them will permanently break your DLC save games. But, it's possible your game will not load if the new audio files are not present. I don't have the DLC myself, so I can't check. Change the files at your own discretion.
Note for troubleshooting: It's the same as pre-Patch 1.2 the voice mods will not be in effect during character creation. They will begin functioning normally once you leave character creation and begin gameplay.
This entire comment is free for anyone to share and post wherever the want btw. No need to credit me or anything.
I have an xml that contains all the voice lines from Kingmaker for almost all of the soundbanks. However my first couple of voice packs I did manually.
It sure does, but it also sometimes tricks you into thinking you did everything right and then it turns out that the people making the XML put the things in a wrong order (So you can't auto-pilot while using it otherwise you'll slip up), this prompted me to do a lot of other things to make sure that I'd never make a mistake.
Carefree, Cunning, Wise, Grumpy and Optimist do not exist in my XML, so all the soundbanks that replace these are manually crafted (This one included)
It was never made. And it's not a 5 minute project to make it. It's a 5 hour project for about 4-5 extra voice lines that you would rarely if ever hear.

hordedemons/abyssCould you maybe post that voicepack with magic quotes as an option?
Pretty please?
Under the circumstances, consider the request withdrawn and replaced by best wishes for a merry christmas. :)
