About this mod

A save file (middle slot, I think) that has all Crew Skills & Tanks & Camouflage Unlocked. You can replay each mission in the Campaign without fail and not worry about the relationships needed for unlocking the emancipated skills of each tank crew. Please read the detailed description for more information!

Permissions and credits
NOTE - this saved game is valid for Panzer Knights version 1.1.7 (including the three DLC packages - Churchill, Valentine, Elefant, Maus, M4-748, M26 Pershing)

NOTE - if this saved game is corrupted, it means it you cannot use it. HOWEVER, it also means you use the information below to locate your save file, and edit the Medals / Credits you have for your saved game so you can buy everything that you need.

--------------------------------------------------

STEP 1 - Copy this file into your PC (it does not need to be in your Panzer Knights installation directory).

STEP 2 - Locate the saved games for Panzer Knights. Since everyone has a different User ID on their PC, the pathname should be [C:\Users\ (your user name for your gaming rig) \AppData\LocalLow\JoyBrick Inc\Panzer Knights] This pathname should be valid for both the Steam version and GOG version (I have the GOG version, because Gabe Newell is trash).

STEP 3 - Download the ".SAVE" file to your directory (it will overwrite the middle or center save slot).

STEP 4 - Boot up Panzer Knights and all the crew, tanks, camouflage schemes, and skills should be unlocked.

--------------------------------------------------

IF THE SAVE GAME DOES NOT WORK - ALL IS NOT LOST. Here are the instructions to edit the Medals (or credits) you have in your own saved game(s) to buy everything.

(1) Locate the saved games for Panzer Knights. Since everyone has a different User ID on their PC, the pathname should be [C:\Users\ (your user name for your gaming rig) \AppData\LocalLow\JoyBrick Inc\Panzer Knights] This pathname should be valid for both the Steam version and GOG version.

(2) The save file for your game(s) are a bunch of numbers and letters with the file extension ".SAVE"

(3) Note that if you do not see the file extension, you need to change the VIEW options on your Windows folders to be able to view file extensions. Information about what file names and file extensions are and how they are separated by a period (or full-stop) can be looked up on the internet, under "8.3 naming convention".

(4) Open your save game file with a text editor such as NOTEPAD.EXE

(5) You will see a lot of English text separated from numbers with a colon. Look for the text string "Merit": which should appear before "DestroyVehicleCount":

(6) Change the numerical value for "MERIT" (which is the number of medallions / medals you have for the game) to any number you desire, without using any punctuation; I recommend 5000000 (5,000,000 credits) which should let you purchase everything in the game (assuming you have passed the required missions to unlock certain tanks).

(7) Save the changes, close the file, and boot up Panzer Knights. Enjoy the cash.

(8) NOTE - you can also change the "SkillALevel": to "5" for each crew member (saves some money), as well as force unlock their story/hidden skill (the skill where you need to play through a mission with specific crew). Do this by setting the "IsEmancipated": value from "false" to "true" (follow the spelling syntax of the file, and do not introduce extra punctuation, or your save will be corrupted).

(9) I haven't been able to figure out how to unlock the tanks and camouflage by straight up value-changes, but with practically infinite money (from step 5), you can simply buy the tanks you need without replaying missions to farm medals/credits.

(10) Steam sucks balls because they will not allow me to publish a guide without buying their version of Panzer Knights, so I'm leaving the information on a site that appreciates PC gamers.

(11) And FOX Interactive Media / Ziff Davis sucks big balls for shutting down Fileplanet and Gamespy. Burn in hell, Rupert Murdoch.
