CHANGE LOG: - Made replacements modular, as separate, stand-alone files. - Added fur to cold resist variant. - Removed 'boob window' from normal variant (only the heat and cold resistant variants retain the 'boob window'). - Added 'Police Hat' only variant for the helm replacement. - Added an All-in-One download.
This mod is NOT (FULLY) COMPATIBLE with any mods that: - Alters the female base body model - Alters the female base body textures - Alters the Pal Metal armor textures for female - Alters the Cloth armor textures for female - Alters the Pelt armor textures for female
Things to take note of when using this mod: 1. The hat option is only recommended for characters with short hairstyle. Expect clipping otherwise. 2. The bracelet on the left arm of the armor changes colors depending on which variant of the armor you have equipped (refer to mod images).
About this mod: The body armor is a mash up of several parts from the vanilla Cloth and Pelt armors. The hat and sunglasses are from a hidden NPC in the game. I honestly didn't know where I was going when I made this, but here it is and I hope you enjoy it.
To fellow modders: If anyone is interested in making a recolor / retexture of this custom outfit, please feel free to do so. Just upload it here on nexus and link to this mod as a requirement. Just make sure your .pak comes after mine filename-wise.
hey, could you make a version to substitute any set of armor we want? like, i would love to use that cool outfit for cloth armor. i am using a diferent mod for each armor set
Is it supposed to still work? i tried making a Mods folder in packs fodler putting it there, also tried putting in ~mods folder inside packs folder i tried plainly put it in packs folder too and doesnt seem to work, i double checked only other skins i got is for weapons only so no conflicts. Any help or info as to why it doesnt work?
The in game model may have been changed because when I first installed, it was fine but now the sunglasses part of this mod are clipping with the face.
A big issue for all three of your palworld outfit mods is that they are based on the default body settings, so if the torso or arms for your girl is slightly off the starting value, you character's neck and clavicle is just floating off the body with a void in between. Any way you could fix this and have the clothes adjust like the base game clothes? Thanks in advance if you do respond.
Custom outfits are usually this way, because of the default body size in the game files. When the body 3D mesh (or any vanilla body armor) is exported from the game pak files, the morphs are not included by the plugin. Reimplementing the morphs (aka slider modifiers) into custom outfits / armors is a very tedious undertaking. You can look up 'blender shape keys' on YouTube if you are not familiar. It requires a significant amount of time that I'd rather spend on something else.
Understood, I'm familiar with shapekeys. SO it's just not taking that info from the slider when applying the clothes. Welp, I guess i'll have to wait for when the Palworld devs make editing your character appearance anytime a base feature.
