This is a separate program that disables the in-game check for building overlapping. Now you can build buildings that overlap each other and even staircases and walls that partially sink into the ground. Comes in two versions: an .exe file, or a Cheat Engine table, in case you are worried about running an .exe file. Source code link available in mirrors section.
Instructions - .exe version
You need to have .NET 6 Desktop Runtime installed. If you don't have it, Windows will probably prompt you to install it automatically, but you can also install it manually HERE
Start the game
Start the mod - it can be placed anywhere, there is no need to copy it into the game directory
Press F8 to activate. If everything worked fine, the mod will look like this:
