Navigate to your PalWorld game directory Steam: Right click on game in Steam -> Manage -> Browse Local Files Xbox App: Select PalWorld, click the three dot button ( ... ) and click Manage from the dropdown. Then select the FILES tab and click BROWSE...
Navigate to the LogicMods folder in your PalWorld game directory:
...\Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods\
Download and extract the latest version of the mod from the files tab
Move the .pak file from the extracted mod folder to the LogicMods folder from above (...\Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods\). Be sure to only copy the .pak and not the entire folder.

Manual Installation and PlayersNearbyMinimap in ModConfig
If you're installing the mod manually and don't see the "PlayersNearbyMinimap" option in the ModConfig window, here are some things to check:
~mods Folder: Verify that the "~mods" folder exists inside the following directory:
...\Pal\Content\Paks\
The ~mods folder may be empty. Its presence is necessary for some mods to function properly in Palworld.
Mod File Location: Double-check that you haven't accidentally placed the mod files (usually a .pak file) directly into the "Pal\Content\Paks" folder. Mod files for manual installation should be placed inside the LogicMods folder.
Additional Tips
Restart Palworld after making any changes to your mods.
If the issue persists, try removing the mod and reinstalling it.
Check the required mod description pages for any specific troubleshooting instructions from the mod author.
