Manual replication of a Youtuber's playthrough base that could serve as a ideal start. Moderately cheaty due to preset systems and supply.

Backstory:
Due to Bob mentioning Oxygen Not Included in a recent "Raft" video with Mark and thus Markiplier playing it on his channel and sparking my Oxygen Not Included addiction.

I eventually came across Skye Storme's playthrough and so his Death Star base concept as he called his electrical grid and phrases as "Awesomesauce and there was much rejoicing" were often mentioned by Skye.

I decided to replicate his base as best as I could with a few minor adjustments using the same Seed. This caused me to desperately want to spawn Geysers and that lead me down the rabbithole of modding. With the help of "Sandbox Tools' which is an absolute delight if you decide to spend approximately 120 hours to replicate a base like this and need to spawn Geysers and what not.

So there you have it. Still at Cycle 1, lost a small amount of time into the cycle due to unpausing a few times to test fluids and or on accident when watching the videos to follow Skye's actions.

I've spawned a few blocks of resources to have a 'starting amount'. Which are not the same as Skye's due to the trillions of resources he has that I can't possibly spawn as well as to 'balance' out the 1k cycle difference.

Spawned resources are approximately:

Plus of course the slicksters, dreckos, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, water, pwater and chlorine as shown in Skye's playthrough.


Things left to do would be:


Storage:
  • Bleach in Chlorine roomstorage settings
  • Polluted items in Polluted room storage settings
  • Food in middle storage settings
  • Hot items in the top area (Hydrogen) storage settings
  • No eggs into storage storage settings
  • Coal only in power area storage settings
  • Eggs in egg cracking room storage settings
  • Dirt in compost storage settings

Building:
  • Connect tiles, tubes, wires and pipes where there's no vision South of the Death Star
  • Connect ladders and poles on the right side next to the Death Star

Management:
  • Let Dupes sweep and other assigned tasks
  • Check and configure bottle emptiers
  • Anything I might have forgotten
  • Kitchen setup (Grill/Gas range)

Configuration:
(Because I forgot and already updated it once due to something else I forgot.)
  • Set kill-room right corner top timer to 8% and 2%
  • Set kill-room right corner bottom timer to 26% and 2%
  • Set kill-room Element filter to Drecko, Glossy Drecklet, Hatch, Smooth Hatch and Stone Hatch and do not auto-wrangle.
  • Set bottom atmo sensor.


The location of the game's save-files:

Let me know if there's anything I might have forgotten from Skye's series or if I made a mistake somewhere since I manually counted each block and all distances between blocks and I might update the save-file 'template'. I've added a version with Sandbox completely disabled by using Duplicity. I haven't tested it for bugs or issues but everything seems fine.
