"In Partiality Launcher click File, Open Game & find Outward.exe (normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outward) Now you have a new folder called Mods where Outward.exe is"
doesn't happen for me. "Apply Mods" is greyed out, can't click it, no folders are created.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, yet it would be very useful ... ?I put the .dll file in the BeplEx-Plugin folder.Nothing happens when I move the mouse wheel back and forth. I keep the game in full screen windowed.Should I set something in the graphics section perhaps?I turned off MotionBlur and Atmospheric Fog.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
You need Partiality Wrapper then put this mod's .dll in the "partiality-mods" folder that the wrapper will create after launching the game for the first time
I've only tried it with a mouse (not controller) but it worked just as described and is a nice option to have, thank you for sharing this mod!
Just an update on the install directions though since it seems like they are outdated... Follow the directions from this link:https://outward.gamepedia.com/Installing_Mods and place this mods .dll file here: Outward\BepInEx\plugins\
With the mod on I noticed that, during conversations, the right thumb stick would toggle the FOV change and go mental. When it occurred I hadn't set a keybind for the function yet.
Is it just perception, or does zooming out make your character run faster? And zoomed all the way in makes you slower. I can't verify at the moment, but the couple minutes I was testing it, it sure felt like that was the case. Also, nice mod! Looking for the ones that don't alter the game too much, stuff like this makes the vanilla experience nicer.
im not sure, but that is likely because this is not a true zoom but actually just moving the FOV slider in and out, thus causing the edges of the screen to warp in such a way that can have a slowing or warpspeed effect. But, idk since im just about to install the mod. Still a handy slider to have on the wheel since its not functional and im always switching that thing back and forth.
Could it be that this mods makes the camera tilt somehow by accident. Sometimes when I jump down mountains, the camera is weirde tilted (dutch angle) I installed 3 new mods, this was one of them since the error ocured.
