A simple mod to help bring more clarity to many of the item and skill descriptions in the game.

The purpose of this mod is to list more detailed descriptions in-game about exactly what each item and skill does, including damage formulas and additional effects to get a better feel for the strength and usefulness for things. If you've used the mod I created for the original game with the same name, you'll see the same format used here as well. Hopefully this will save players some time from having to research things while they are in the middle of playing. The vast majority of the info used in this mod was data mined or researched/tested by others in the Octopath modding community and discord channel, all credit for this info goes to them, I only did some minor data mining and testing while creating this mod to better understand how things work.
Due to the increased length of the descriptions and the new scroll bar added in this sequel, this mod also increases the number of lines of text displayed in descriptions from 3 to 5. The reason for this is to prevent players from having to constantly use the scroll bar while looking through items and skills.
Note: A handful of items and skills may have estimated values or formulas based on lots of testing, like some of the Inventor and Armsmaster skills for example. Any info on exact values or formulas for these would be greatly appreciated! If any in-game descriptions are incorrect or if any bugs are found with this mod, please let me know!
INSTALL:
Download the "BetterDescriptions2_p.pak" file and place it into your "[steam install folder]\steamapps\common\Octopath_Traveler2\Octopath_Traveler2\Content\Paks\" folder. If you're in the correct spot, you should see a "Octopath_Traveler2-WindowsNoEditor.pak" file in this folder.
UNINSTALL:
Delete the ""BetterDescriptions2_p.pak" file from the same folder listed above.
IMPORTANT: This mod uses the GameTextEN.uasset/uexp, GameParamDefineTable.uasset/uexp, BattleCommandHelpWindow.uasset/uexp, and HelpWindowWBP.uasset/uexp files, so it will be incompatible with other mods that use these files. This mod was intended for use with the Steam version and may not work with other versions.
