About this mod
Have too much aluminum? We have the answer! This mod outfits the crusher (large and small) with a nuclear transmuter converting aluminum into the other ores.

Each transmutation has a yield, efficiency, and damage associated with it dependent upon the nucleon (protons+neutrons) ratio between aluminum and the target element. Damage is relative to the number of fast neutrons released due to yield and efficiency differences. Protons released recombine into H2 and are vented to the Martian atmosphere.
Transmutation from aluminum (atomic mass ~27) into;
Silicon (atomic mass ~28) has a high yield and fairly good efficiency and with little damage to the crusher as it is very close to aluminum in atomic mass.
Calcium (atomic mass ~40) has a lower yield, lower efficiency and higher damage due to the difference in atomic mass.
Iron (atomic mass ~56) has a much lower yield, lower efficiency and higher damage due to a larger yet difference in atomic mass.
Uranium (atomic mass ~235) has a very low yield, lower efficiency, and a much higher damage.
The configuration file allows the player to set.
1. The amount of aluminum to be kept as a percentage with a range of 0 to 100. The remainder will be used for selected transmutations. Default is 100%.
2. A safety guard rail that shuts down transmutation when a percentage of crusher health is reached. Default is 30%.
3. Four selections that indicate which elements the aluminum will be transmuted into. Default is all off.
The player may select one or more of the four transmutation selections, and the percentage of aluminum not kept will be shared evenly between the transmutations selected. For example, if you crush 100 aluminum and have the 'aluminum to keep' set to zero and silicon and uranium transmutations selected then 50 aluminum will be used to transmute to silicon and 50 for uranium. You will however get less silicon than the 50 aluminum used and much less uranium due to the yield and efficiency differences.
Note: If a player selects keeping less than 100% aluminum, and there are no transmutations selected, the unkept aluminum will be vaporized and released into the Martian atmosphere.
Note: The player may add ore to the crusher in three ways.
1. Dump from a vehicle (Mars Truck or Rover with Tipper),
2. Drop ready-to-load rock into crusher by had (don't fall in!),
3. Drop a stack of ore into the crusher...useful if you have stacks of aluminum you want to get rid of.
Note: If the damage safety guard rail is reached an on-screen message will indicate all further transmutations for this batch have been halted. The remainder of ore will be stored as the game default quantities.

This mod requires BepInEx installed. ConfigurationManager is optional but especially recommended for this mod.
This mod can be installed by Vortex mod manager, but you must already have BepInEx installed manually (because the one on Nexus is old).
Manual installation instructions:(if you already have BepInEx installed, do step 2 then skip to step 6)
1. Get BepInEx from https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases/tag/v5.4.22 you will want the x64 version.
2. Open your Game directory by going to steam library -> right click on the game -> Manage -> Browse Local Files
3. Unzip BepInEx directly into that folder.
4. Run the game and then Exit the game once you see the main menu.
5. IF you did things right you will see a folder called "plugins" inside the BepInEx folder.
6. Now you can unzip this mod into the "plugins" folder.
Attention: IF you want to use ConfigurationManager you have to edit your BepInEx/Config/BepInEx.cfg file. Find the line "HideManagerGameObject = false" Change it to true. THEN ConfigurationManager will show when you call for it.
