After a 10 hour long hyperfixation where I forgot to eat or sleep and instead just taught myself the Oblivion Construction Set and papyrus scripting in order to release the 1.0 version of this mod (thankfully I already work as a Software Developer), the days of waiting tens of levels to tell Farmer Odiil that you actually saved his farm and both his sons years ago so you can get the strongest version of Chillrend are now overrrrrrrrr!
Auto Upgrade Leveled Items (AULI) will check if you have an item, such as a Level 1 Chillrend, in your inventory, find you now just leveling up to Level 5 or even nowadays being Level 20 by the time you take it out of a chest, and automatically replace it with a version of the item more befitting an adventurer of your experience (a level 5 or level 20 chillrend)! Presuming that the item's leveled list has a higher level version it can upgrade to.
If you would like the upgrading and running scripts to check if you have items to be upgraded to ONLY run once when you level up there is now a second, alternative version of the mod located in the Main Files titled "Auto Upgrade Leveled Items - On Level Up"
If you would like to manually cast a "spell" (lesser power) to run the scripts and upgrade any lacking leveled items whenever you would like, there is now a third, alternative version of the mod located in the Main Files titled "Auto Upgrade Leveled Items - Manual Spell"
Some items simply don't have versions at certain level milestones, so a "Ring of Mind Shielding" won't upgrade upon you reaching Level 5, but it will get upgraded upon reaching Level 10, 15, and finally 25 (skipping over it's missing level 20 version).
If the item has a custom enchantment on it (I believe only possible with the Deluxe Edition items) those enchantments will be lost upon the item being upgraded because your current item is being swapped out with an entirely new item. If you would like to avoid that then the Manual Spell version would be best, or stashing them away anytime you go to level up.
This covers over 100 different leveled items and TWO leveled spells across base Oblivion and the Shivering Isles, the Remaster's Deluxe Edition Items, Knights of the Nine, Mehrunes' Razor, Vile Lair, and the Fighter's Stronghold DLCs!
(BASED ON HOW YOU'D PREFER THE MOD TO FUNCTION)
Installing through a mod manager such as Vortex can cause issues with the load order of the game (found in the form of a "Plugins.txt" file in the game directory), including crashing the game to desktop. I personally have not had any issues with using Vortex, but if you are please try going to the Load Order section and hitting the Reset Plugins File button every time you install new mods before attempting to launch your game ❤️
If you are having any troubles with a mod manager or would prefer to just manually install the mod, you need to drag and drop the esp file to one of the two directories below depending on what platform you are playing on. You then need to write or paste the name of the file you just downloaded, such as AutoUpgradeRewards.esp, into the Plugins.txt file within this directory to actually put the mod into your load order. (Probably at the bottom of the load order)

Q: Is this mod retroactive?
A: Yep! Install it mid playthrough with no worries at all and any item or spell listed below will be automatically and immediately upgraded to suit your level, or will be upgraded upon you leveling up should you choose to install the On Level Up version of the mod.
Q: Is this mod compatible with _____?
A: This mod should be compatible with every mod that doesn't directly change either the IDs or leveled lists of the items listed below. I know that probably sounds like nonsense to most so generally you can just consider it probably incompatible with anything that also changes Leveled Items or Quest Rewards that are listed below, any mod that doesn't touch them is all good. Ascension yes. Unleveled Item Rewards and Balanced Unleveled Rewards no.
Q: Does this mod effect (your favorite item name here)?
A: If it is on the list below, yes. If it is not, then it proooobably isn't a leveled item. UMBRA'S SWORD IS NOT A LEVELED ITEM. If you find one that isn't here and is a leveled item (other than sigil stones at the moment) then come back here and rub it in my face.
Q: Can this mod properly downgrade my items from using a mod that just gave me the max level version at a lower level?
A: Not yet... but once I get the base functionality of upgrading perfect and complete for everything I want it complete for, that is one of the most common requests I will be immediately looking into. Until then I will most likely post a guide in the Articles section on how to very easily and quickly use console commands to get your item back to it's proper level ❤️
Q: Will this mod include sigil stones?
A: I will be making an optional file downloadable that covers sigil stones for those wanting them to be automatically upgraded.
Q: Will you make a version that costs something to upgrade the items or involves a more immersion-friendly process to upgrade them?
A: I will start to consider making an alternative version and file with system(s) like this after the current, main versions and vision is about as perfect as I can get it and in a spot for me to move on from :) So hopefully very soon!
Q: Does this disable achievements?
A: Nope!

Wizard's Fury
Finger of the Mountain - I have uploaded a second, optional mod here to adjust/fix the magicka cost values of the spell as it gets higher in level as the base game actually makes the spell mistakenly cost an extreme amount more Magicka as AULI upgrades it to it's higher level versions.
If you have any issues or feedback with the mod please let me know and I will respond as soon as I can! Thank you very much for considering or installing my very first mod ❤️🙇♂️
On that note I'd like to extend a thank you to Nexus users and Oblivion modders @PushTheWinButton and @Maegfaer for their help and advice within the Posts section during this mod's early days helping a newbie like me continue making this mod better and actually implement important features such as the support of the DLC items.
