About this mod
Revamps the Thieves Guild by giving its members distinct, lore-friendly appearances. From street urchins to experienced doyens, each NPC now looks the part of a true thief in Cyrodiil’s underworld, for a more immersive experience!

- Permissions and credits

The third part of my NPC revamp series, Fox's Countenance overhauls the appearances of all Thieves Guild NPCs, giving them unique, immersive looks that better reflect their roles and personalities. No more generic faces—each member now stands out even in the shadows! The mod currently features the main fences and the most relevant quest NPCs, with more to come in the future!
The screenshots provided are using vanilla meshes and textures, but these adjustments should work flawlessly with your favourite texture and mesh mods!

REQUIREMENTS

- NPC Appearance Manager
MANUAL INSTALL

- Install UE4SS, Race Menu Utilities and NPC Appearance Manager. Make sure to set up the NPC Appearance Manager properly according to the provided instructions;
- Unzip the Fox's Countenance archive;
- Copy its contents into the OblivionRemastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NPCAppearanceManager\NPC folder;
- Enjoy!
Due to the nature of the NPC Appearance Manager the mod is modular by default; if you prefer not to use a specific character's redesign, simply delete their associated file from the directory mentioned above!
FEATURE LIST

- Armand Christophe was given more realistic proportions while making him look a bit closer to his OG Oblivion incarnation, with added scruff for good measure.
- Methredhel was one of the better faces in vanilla Oblivion, but the remastered version ended up on the generic side. Her new version restores her youthful vibe and charm. Watch out for that diary!
- Amusei's design doesn't really stand out from the other Argonians, so his revamped version aims to portray a younger version of the lizard to reflect his lack of thieving skills. I thought it would be a fun touch to make him look a little bit like an albino lizard that would have trouble sticking to the shadows, since he seems to get caught so often!
- S'krivva was made to look less generic and a little bit more cunning.
- The Stranger is now closer to his vanilla Oblivion look. Not sure why Bethesda chose not to preserve his icy blue eyes, but they're back here!
- Fathis Ules looks a little more scheming and business savvy.
- Ongar the World-Weary was adjusted to look a little less cartoonish and more, well, weary!
- Orrin received a few tweaks to make him more distinct from the base Redguard preset.
- Luciana Galena was redesigned to better reflect her flirty personality.
- Dar Jee's face was tweaked and his scales were recoloured to make him stand out more.

Many thanks to the amazing animandan who made these edits a breeze to work on and super fun to do! And, of course, thank you for checking out my work; feel free to leave your feedback and enjoy!
