About this mod
My personal WIP consistency patch for various mods I use to bring their various item records into line.
- Permissions and credits
This patch primarily deals with clutter/item weight and values (cups will weigh the same, all silver will be priced accordingly etc).
It also amalgamates various changes from different mods for items like torches.
Mods which contain relevant records (if version date is old it does not mean the records no longer are accurate, but that I have not checked for the new version):
— Ascension 1.09
— Valuable Clutter
— Gemstones Expanded 1.5 (not the mod itself, but the values for high-value gems are taken from here, the lower value gems are closer to the Valuable Clutter values)
— Items Have Weight
— UORP 1.06
— ORWO 1.6
— DLT 1.03
— 'Horse Mod' (not any particular horse mod, but all the same horses records are being touched for the same purpose).
What is being done:
— Changes from the UORP brought forward.
— Prioritising value and weights from "Valuable Clutter" over "Ascension" (values for silver clutter are met halfway) most of the time (but not all), while keeping all other Ascension changes (like torch radius).
— "Items Have Weight" records subsumed totally into this patch, changing a handful of records when needed to fit with the other mods.
— Some records are simply duplicates in-case a rogue mod also is changing those items.
Changes in 1.21:
— Values from Gemstones 1.5 brought over, except Ascension changes for enchanted rings, as well as one UORP change forwarded (now requires UORP as master).
Changes in 1.3:
— Added the respawn tag back onto to wild horses as ORWO loads later than Ascension.
This version also requires ORWO as a master.
Changes in 1.31:
— Forwarded the DLT script onto torches.
This version also requires Drop lit torches as a master.
Changes in 1.32:
— Removed the aggression/responsibility from horses (player owned and wild(yes, wild horses report crimes too, its just a horse thing in general)) to save having to use another ESP. Horses are not essential. Speeds range from 23 (OgBlivion value for Jauffre-gift-horse) to 40 (Shadowmere). All ORWO and UORP changes forwarded were applicable.
Version 1.32X(tra)
An alternate version of the main file that adds changes to records that have nothing to do with consistency between other mods
— Removes all magic effects from Altars of the Nine except for Cure Disease.
— Removes all magic effects from altars and wayshrines other than the attribute they buff. The one exception is Arkay that still fortifies health.
— All wayshrines give +10, all altars gives +5 (Arkay fortifies 50 and 25 health points respectively).
— Duration now lasts 4 real world hours on both wayshrines and altars. This is based off playing at a timescale of 3:1, which makes it 12 in game hours, as in the day portion of any given day.
These changes are made because the game is less engaging when you can easily (and without cost) repair attributes (ditto with diseases). Also there was no other mod that did this and why waste an additional ESP slot for a handful of record changes.
This is a personal authorship and should not be seen as reflecting any intentions of the original mods in question, wherever possible I've simply duplicated records into the patch and only created a new value when the values between the mods in question were too divergent (like the silver clutter for example).
