The Hero of Kvatch unfortunately contracted vampirism. Late at night, they snuck into Graman gro-Marad's house, only to find him staying awake all nice. Frustrated, they quickly head to his next-door neighbour, Gilen Norvalo. To their shock, Gilen also never sleeps! Truly, vampires aren't the only creatures of the night in Cyrodiil.
Sleep Tight is intended to be as lightweight as possible. No new beds were added, meaning that there are still some NPCs, mostly innkeepers, that won't get to sleep as none are available.
The Changes
Sleep Tight directly edits 57 NPCs, but fixes the sleep schedules of over 100 NPCs by editing 77 packages, adding new ones, and correcting their bed/door ownership.

- Abhuki is stuck in the guest room. She now serves at the bar as intended. She also owns her bedroll.
- Adrian Decanius has 2 sleep packages that overlap. 1 non-functioning package was removed.
- Agnete the Pickled has an AI package to wander around Skingrad's eastern bridge between 06:00 and 08:00, but oversleeps. Her sleep was shortened from 00:00-08:00 to 00:00-06:00.
- Alberic Litte opts to sleep in the Mages Guild instead of in his house. He now sleeps in a big bed with his wife. He also no longer owns his former bed.
- Alix Lencolia never sleeps. He now sleeps upstairs from 00:00-06:00, eats from 11:00-14:00, and drinks from 14:00-22:00 just like S'jirra. He has been given a Faregyl Inn Key to unlock his room.
- Amusei's wander packages override his sleep packages. These have been reordered to allow him to sleep.
- Arielle Jurard never sleeps. She now sleeps from 02:00-06:00. She also eats from 18:00-20:00.
- Augusta Calidia's reading package overrides her sleep package. She now reads 4 hours earlier, from 22:00-02:00, allowing her to sleep from 02:00-06:00.
- Bejeen never sleeps due to her package's conditions being impossible to meet. The "and" conditions have been replaced with "or."
- Bernadette Peneles leaves her house unlocked due to an incorrect flag in her sleeping package. She now locks her door.
- Biene Amelion never sleeps. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. She also correctly ventures outside from 14:00-18:00.
- Big Head never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He now sleeps upstairs from 22:00-06:00.
- Bothiel refuses to sleep during Repairing the Orrery. She now sleeps from 18:00-00:00 while the quest is active. She also wanders the lobby more frequently and visits the Orrery after it's repaired.
- Brokil gro-Shatur now correctly visits The Lucky Old Lady from 12:00-14:00.
- Caminalda never sleeps. She now sleeps from 00:00-06:00. She also eats from 18:00-20:00.
- Carandial never sleeps when visiting Anutwyll. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00. He also correctly eats from 20:00-22:00.
- Christophe Marane sleeps with his weapon equipped. He now sleeps comfortably without it.
- Corvus Umbranox stands over his wife, watching her sleep every night. He now joins her in bed from 00:00-06:00.
- Cosmus the Cheat stands near his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Cutter never sleeps and spends her nights on the ground floor. She now goes upstairs to sleep from 00:00-08:00.
- Dairihill is supposed to sleep with Langley on Loredas and Sundas, but he sleeps in a single bed. He now sleeps in a double bed, which Dairihill can join him in.
- Deeh the Scalawag stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Deetsan was without a bed. Eilonwy and Orintur have moved into their own house, freeing a bed for Deetsan. She also correctly wanders from 12:00-16:00 and reads from 22:00-02:00.
- Dion sleeps in his armour. He now correctly disrobes for bed.
- Dro'Nahrahe now correctly visits The Lucky Old Lady from 12:00-14:00. She also no longer visits Castle Bruma instead of Castle Bravil.
- Eduard Retiene never sleeps. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. He also correctly ventures outside from 14:00-18:00.
- Eilonwy sleeps in the Cheydinhal Mages Guild, taking a bed from Deetsan and Trayvond the Redguard. She now sleeps in her house. She also correctly joins Orintur on his evening walk.
- Else God-Hater owns a bed but sleeps in the closest one, sometimes taking a bed from Graklak gro-Buglump. She now always sleeps in her own double bed.
- Elsynia can't sleep with Gundalas because he owns their bed. She can now sleep in their bed.
- Evangeline Beanique can't sleep in her bed because Ocato owns it. She can now sleep in her bed.
- Eyja can't sleep with Gunder because he owns their bed. She can now sleep in their bed. She also correctly eats from 09:00-12:00 and explores the market from 18:00-20:00.
- Fathis Aren never sleeps. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00. He also now correctly visits The Lucky Old Lady from 12:00-14:00.
- Fathis Ules sleeps in Dul gro-Shug's house. He now correctly sleeps in his own house. He also can't access his bed at The Oak and Crosier. He can now access it. To keep Talasma's key useful, her cellar can now be unlocked with it. He also now correctly offers his services in Dareloth's house and no longer gets stuck in Chorrol after Sins of the Father.
- Felas Sarandas never sleeps due to not owning any beds. His eating package also overrides his sleep package. He now sleeps from 00:00-08:00.
- Fetid Jofnhild stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Foul Fagus stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Gaspar Stegine sleeps from 18:00-02:00, interrupting his reading and preventing his spell practice. He now sleeps from 23:00-07:00.
- Gaturn gro-Gonk doesn't have a bed to sleep in. He now shares Earana's bed and sleeps from 04:00-10:00. To make time for him, Earana now sleeps from 22:00-04:00. Earana's bed is also now marked as owned.
- Geem Jasaiin chooses to sleep over wandering his home. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Gilen Norvalo never sleeps due to trying to find a bed on his ground floor. He now sleeps in his bed upstairs from 02:00-10:00.
- Graman gro-Marad never sleeps. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00. He also no longer gets stuck on the Bloated Float after An Unexpected Voyage.
- Graklak gro-Buglump can't unlock the door to his bedroom. He can now unlock the door and sleep from 00:00-06:00. His responsibility has also been increased to prevent him from picking pockets and getting killed.
- Gundalas never sleeps. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Hassiri never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He will now go upstairs to try and sleep, but may be beaten by Rajiradh and Urjabbi.
- High Cancellor Ocato never sleeps due to his package's conditions being impossible to meet. The "and" conditions have been replaced with "or," and he now correctly sleeps from 00:00-08:00. He will also no longer hide in his quarters during Allies for Bruma.
- Hillod the Outlaw never sleeps. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Jauffre never sleeps as intended once he reaches Cloud Ruler Temple. He now correctly sleeps from 04:00-08:00.
- Jeanne Jrasoric keeps waking up from 22:00-00:00. She now sleeps soundly from 22:00-06:00.
- Jirolin Doran never sleeps and does nothing all day. He now sleeps from 00:00-06:00, has a schedule matching Ariela Doran's, and correctly visits the chapel steps.
- Jolie Retiene never sleeps. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. She also correctly ventures outside from 14:00-18:00.
- Jorck the Outcast struggles to sleep throughout the entire night. He now correctly sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Jorundr never sleeps. He now sleeps from 00:00-07:00. He also now correctly eats between 07:00-09:00.
- Kantav Cheynoslin frequently gets out of bed to wander the halls. He now correctly sleeps from 00:00-06:00. He now also doesn't follow you around like a shopkeeper.
- Kellen never sleeps due to his package pointing to a stool. He now sleeps from 20:00-10:00.
- Kiara never sleeps, or even moves. She now sleeps from 22:00-02:00 before Arielle Jurard leaves the inn and from 00:00-06:00 after Arielle has left. She also walks around the Brina Cross Inn throughout the day and eats from 18:00-20:00.
- Kurdan gro-Dragol never sleeps due to all the beds being owned. He's now in the Lonely Suitor faction and sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Kurz gro-Baroth may take a bed from a beggar outside the Fighters Guild. He now always sleeps in the Fighters Guild.
- Langley now sleeps in a double bed to allow Dairihill to join him on Loredas and Sundas.
- Lazare Milvan's can't unlock the door to his bedroom. His key now does, allowing him access to his bed.
- Lazy Kaslowyn stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. He also correctly eats between 18:00-20:00.
- Logvaar never sleeps. He now sleeps in the Jerall View Basement from 02:00-08:00. He also only greets from 18:00-00:00.
- Luckless Lucina stands by her bed. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Maglir never sleeps and never moves except during Den of Thieves. He now sleeps and explores based on quest progression. He begins at West Weald Inn, sleeping from 00:00-06:00, eating from 11:00-14:00, and drinking from 14:00-22:00, and otherwise wanders around, a schedule inspired by S'jirra. After Drunk and Disorderly, he moves to the Anvil Fighters Guild, sleeping from 22:00-06:00, eating from 12:00-14:00 and 20:00-22:00, and otherwise wanders around, a schedule inspired by Llensi Llaram. When More Unfinished Business begins, he moves to the Lonely Suitor Lodge, sleeping from 00:00-06:00, eating from 20:00-22:00, and otherwise wanders around, a schedule inspired by Kurdan gro-Dragol. He will also no longer continue following you if you get expelled during Den of Thieves.
- Maknok gro-Coblug never sleeps. He now sleeps from 02:00-06:00.
- Mandil never sleeps. She now sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Marie Alouette never sleeps. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. She also correctly ventures outside from 14:00-18:00.
- Mog gra-Mogakh never sleeps. She now sleeps from 01:00-05:00.
- Nermus the Mooch stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00. He also correctly eats between 18:00-20:00.
- Neville sleeps for most of the day. He now only sleeps from 00:00-01:00 to allow his other packages to play out.
- Nigidius the Needy stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Olav never sleeps. He now has an unhealthy sleep schedule, sleeping from 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00, keeping him available during the night and for lunch.
- Olava the Fair now correctly visits The Lucky Old Lady from 12:00-14:00.
- Olfand never sleeps because his bedroom is locked. He can now unlock the door and sleep from 00:00-06:00.
- Ormil never sleeps. He now sleeps in his cabin from 02:00-06:00.
- Orintur sleeps in the Cheydinhal Mages Guild, taking a bed from Deetsan and Trayvond the Redguard. He now sleeps in his house.
- Othrelos never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He now sleeps upstairs from 00:00-06:00.
- Penniless Olvus stands by his bed. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Ra'Jhan's bedroom door is locked and owned by Ra'jiradh, preventing him from sleeping. He now owns the door and can access his bed. He also now carries his own house key instead of Ra'Jahirr's and a redundant sleep package has been removed.
- Ra'jiradh sleeps in his double bed alone, leaving Hassiri and Urjabbi on the ground floor. He will now allow them upstairs, where they may sleep with him.
- Ralsa Norvalo never sleeps. She now sleeps from 00:00-08:00. She also eats from 10:00-12:00 regardless of whether Order of the Virtuous Blood has started and doesn't lock you in her house when starting the quest from there.
- Rancid Radirsha stands by her bed. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Reman Broder no longer leaves his house unlocked when he's not sleeping.
- Rimalus Bruiant freezes near his bed all day. He now correctly does his daily routines. He also no longer attacks his wife and dogs — but may still attack you if his disposition gets low enough — no longer follows you everywhere, and attends the Chapel of Stendarr as intended.
- Roderic Pierrane stands outside Irene Metrick's house every Sundas night. He now has a key to her house and sleeps with her as intended.
- Roland Jenseric never sleeps after Order of the Virtuous Blood is completed. He now sleeps upstairs from 00:00-08:00.
- Romana Faleria has 2 sleep packages that overlap. 1 non-functioning package was removed. She also correctly eats from 18:00-20:00 and is less likely to stumble across the Defense of Bruma.
- Rosentia Gallenus never sleeps before Whom Gods Annoy is completed. She now sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Rusia Bradus never sleeps because her bedroom is locked. She can now unlock the door and sleep from 00:00-06:00.
- S'jirra can sleep downstairs despite owning a room. She now always sleeps in her upstairs room.
- Saveri Faram tries to sleep in the same bed as Jearl. She now sleeps in the basement from 04:00-10:00.
- Schlera Sestius never sleeps. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00 and has been given a key to The Sleeping Mare. She also now eats from 20:00-22:00.
- Seridur never sleeps before Order of the Virtuous Blood begins. He now sleeps from 05:00-13:00.
- Shameer leaves his house unlocked during the day due to an incorrect flag in his sleeping package. He now locks his door. He also won't steal food, which could result in his untimely death.
- Silana Blandia no longer follows you around like a shopkeeper.
- Skjorta never sleeps because her bedroom is locked. She can now unlock the door and sleep from 02:00-08:00. She also now sells the Councilor's Hood.
- Tamika leaves her house unlocked during the day due to an incorrect flag in her sleeping package. She now locks the door. She also no longer has an infinite supply of pants.
- Trayvond the Redguard was without a bed. Eilonwy and Orintur have moved into their own house, freeing a bed for Trayvond.
- Undena Orethi never sleeps and has unfinished packages. She now sleeps from 00:00-08:00, has been given a Hoe to farm her tomatoes from 08:00-18:00, eats in her house from 12:00-14:00 and 18:00-20:00, wanders around her house from 20:00-00:00, and no longer leaves her house unlocked.
- Urjabhi never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He will now go upstairs to try and sleep, but may be beaten by Hassiri and Rajiradh.
- Usheeja never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He can now unlock the upper floor and sleeps from 22:00-04:00.
- Ushnar gro-Shadborgob never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He now sleeps upstairs from 22:00-06:00.
- Uuras the Shepherd leaves his house unlocked during the day due to an incorrect flag in his sleeping package. He now locks the door.
- Uurwen sleeps instead of eating dinner. She now eats before sleeping from 22:00-04:00.
- Valus Odiil never sleeps before The Killing Field is started. He now sleeps and eats as normal. He also no longer tries to return to Chorrol during his weekend visits to his farm.
- Vandorallen Trebatius can't open the door to his room at the Two Sisters Lodge. He can now reach his bed and sleeps from 00:00-08:00.
- Varon Vamori can't open the door to his room. He can now reach his bed and sleeps from 00:00-06:00.
- Vincente Valtieri never sleeps until you've spoken to him. He will now always sleep from 06:00-10:00.
- Viera Lerus continues to sleep in Bruma after the events of Great Gate. She now correctly sleeps in Bravil.
- Vlanarus Kvinchal never sleeps. He now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
- Winson never sleeps and spends his nights on the ground floor. He now sleeps upstairs from 00:00-06:00. He also correctly eats from 18:00-20:00, and takes a break from the Arena on Tirdas to walk around the Arboretum and on Turdas to head for the Temple.
- Wretched Aia stands by her bed. She now sleeps from 22:00-06:00.
Includes a patch for Simple NPC Level Cap.
Manual Installation
If you don't want to install via Vortex Mod Manager or another mod manager:
- Extract "SS_ST_SleepTight.esp" to the game's Data folder (Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data)
- Add "SS_ST_SleepTight.esp" to the plugins.txt file, which can be found in the same folder.
- Repeat for any optional files you wish to also use.
