Description
Engine plugin that lets you control enchantment charge behavior. Disable it completely, slow it down, or make it drain faster. Affects only combat charge cost, preserving enchanting table balance. Number of uses in inventory UI will show default, not changed value, ignore it.

ASI version compatible with all game versions, no patches required.
OBSE version compatible only with Steam version, as OBSE64 requires Steam version.

Default settings
; Multiplier for enchantment charge attack cost. You can use any value.
; Examples:
; 0   = no charge loss
; 0.5 = charge decreases at half the normal rate
; 1   = default charge loss
; 2   = charge decreases twice as fast

Installation of ASI version
0. For Linux users, add WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound=n,b" %command% to the game's launch options in Steam.
1. Extract the contents of Ultimate-ASI-Loader to one of the paths below. Only necessary if ASI Loader isn't installed.
2. Extract the contents of the mod archive to one of the paths below.

  • For the Steam version: Game Folder\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64
  • For the Xbox version: Game Folder\Content\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\WinGDK

Installation of OBSE version
Extract the contents of the mod archive to game folder.
Path of the file should be: "Game Folder\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\OBSE\plugins\OblivionNoEnchantmentDrain.dll"
