I finally got this to work with the testing esp and a bashed patch. Some shivering isles dialogue was silent for me, like dialogue directed at the player after finishing the SI main quest. A shame this is unfinished.
If you're wondering about compatibility, it's an easy fix in xEdit. Just open the race records and look for the Voice section. Add it if it's missing and then double-click on the filed to bring up the drop down menu. Choose the appropriate voice. For example this mod adds voices for orcs, so on the race page for orcs, add the voice and set it to "Orc" for both male and female. Do the same for male dark elves and female wood elves. I think that's all this mod adds, but check the sound files to see if it adds any others. Then delete the .esp files included with this mod as that's all they do, and in a very odd way since this mod adds a completely new race for orcs and elves, not sure why.
The voices are pretty good. You can tell they were software edited, but not so much that it breaks the ever-so-important imurshun.
Is there any way to make this compatible with Morroblivion's Morrowind_ob - Conversation mod? It seems that this mod causes all the races it affects to have no audio for voice lines in Morrowind when it's merged into the bashed patch. Are the two mods irreconcilable due to this one changing race records? Edit: For anyone who runs into this issue, there is a mod by ponyrider0 on the Morroblivion site that solves this issue called the VoiceFile Redirector OBSE Plugin. It can be found here: https://tesrenewal.com/forums/morroblivion-mod-releases/rel-voicefile-redirector-obse-plugin-v12
Gosh I wish this was compatible with Oblivion Character Overhaul.
I just finished the Dibella Brush quest and my character is in the house of Rythe Lathandas. I find out their faces are reset and there's ugly-as-all-hell vanilla Rythe turns around zoom in on his face in his deep voice with a creepy smile saying "My house is yours" as I exit the conversation, he turns back to his painting robotically.
I use Wrye Bash's bashed patch to merge the changes properly between mods and so I don't have the problems you described. OTOH I use OCO v1, might be different with v2 in theory.
Tried this both merged and not merged into bashed patch, and it doesn't do anything at all. I use many mods like OCO2 and integration though. It's too bad, I'm so sick of the vanilla voices. EDIT: Well wrye bash finally kicked into gear and imported the race entries, and oh wow it works! I dont notice any difference with redguards or argonians, but other races so far sound great!
Bashed patch works with mo2. Open MO2 then click at the Button above the plugins, (There's the run button and the shortcut button in the right of it) Press it then click at <edit...> Then put a title to it then chose the wrye bash.exe file in the binary then then press add after you add it you'll find it in the bar in the above click on wrye bash then click on modify, close the window then click at the button with the run and shortcut buttons in the right of it again then choose wrye bash then press run, Now just build/rebuild the bashed patch normally

instead of character overhaul, try a mod called enhanced genetics, honestly its better than OCO just make sure you dont use any body mods, cuz it already modifies the body...but honestly ive never really gotten body mods to work anyways...
I'm playing Oblivion for the first time after so many years.
This mod works a real charm, especially if one remembers the voices in Morrowind. Still, there are some muted greeting lines here and there. An example is Nerussa, female High Elf, owner of Wawnet Inn in Weye. When I enter the inn, I see her lips moving but no voice is played. Same thing when I interact with her, but all dialogue lines work fine.
Do I have to fiddle with the bashed patch in Wrye Bash or something like that?
