Xilver/Gearstorm indicated he is open to talk to whoever wishes to make a sincere effort to port his mod to the remaster. Anyone who wants to do, so I recommend hitting him up on YouTube for permission as he responded quickly there, he said he doesn't have time to do so on his own due to teaching, so there is hope folks just need someone who is willing to make the effort.
I am learning how to mod better before humbly adressing to Lord Xilver. I am testing to export the .nif to .fbx as a proof of concept. If I manage to do that, I might go further - but I also have my work with patients. I sincercly hope someone better than me with more time can come save us !
I might like to attempt it, but I'm not touching Unreal. It doesn't require OBSE, so the scripts should just work, no? The assets sound like the painful part. I'm pleasantly surprised that he responded positively though. I thought he had grown bitter towards the TES mod community.
You'll have to touch UE because of the wrapping. The elegant scripts should work since they create gamebryo activators, and I think they still work, but we still have to tell UE which activator to show on the Unreal side I guess, or you'll CTD without assets.
From what I've read from other Overhau's modders, looks lke for OBSE64 its impossible yet to add new maps... So, I thing its better to wait to an OBSE64 who can manage those

Mod author hasn't been on the nexus in over a years I doubt it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got something similar in about a year or so.
MM is kind of a product of its time anyways. A lot of the spells use antiquated animations and textures, but seeing them come to the remaster would be really cool!

Ok Test 1 ended up with CTD. I installed esp and bsa. Taking out the BSA and seeing how that goes. EDIT: TEST 2: Same problem lol. I removed both esp and bsa and deleted the text from the plugin file, and now the game no longer CTDs at the arcane uni.
I don't CTD at Arcane uni, but the doors to Midas and Fraternity are detached from the wall and leads to a CTD. Don't know what could be the cause, I don't understand UE well
It's because meshes and textures and other assets arent compatible, sadly. I downloaded a player home from OG oblivion and all that was in the remastered was a door and a wall frame lol.
Looking at the dates of the files uploaded, I'm assuming that if I download the main file, I still need to download the "update A" file as well? Or is 'update A' already included in the main file?

I'm using hourse overhaul and it's kinda awkward when using the two, unless there's some way to change fly from shift to another key like L-Alt
Edit: Found them in Midas's Bedroom, in a cupboard opposite side of the door. Thanks to xilver for saying this a while ago!
