These files replace various default weapon idle animations to those of either walking or one-handed weapons, depending upon the files that you use. Within you will find files for each of the base weapons. Choose which animations that you would like to change and copy the associated Meshes directory within to your Oblivion\Data directory.

This plug-in was created simply to change the default bow animations whilst moving with bow in hand, to those with empty hands. This eliminates the half-crouch animations that the default game utilises, when walking or running with a bow. They annoyed me to no end, as I like to have my bow in hand, constantly.

As there are many other weapon animations bothered various people (staff and two-handed weapons come to mind), I expanded the idea to a series of possibles that the end-user could drop in and use.

These meshes are the base Bethesda models, renamed to overwrite the originals. It is possible that you will need to update your ArchiveInvalidation.txt file, depending. I have not had the need with these, but others have.

I urge you to pick and choose within the folders and decide which of the animations that you would like to replace and which you appreciate the way that they are. If you don't want a certain animation changed, just delete the .nif associated and the base Oblivion animation will remain the same.

I take no credit for this plug-in as the entire animation sequence is Bethesda's creation. This was created simply picking and choosing similar animations and renaming them. A blind wombat could have released this, all the same.

Cheers,
