1. DESCRIPTION

This is a collection of all the helmets I released so far plus new ones. So far there are seven helmets, but I will update the mod regulary with new helmets as soon as they're ready to go. It's easier to make one collection than to release each helmet as a single mod. I have also updated some of the helmets, see changelog for details.

__________

These helmets are included:

=Dwarven helmet (alternate version)=

This is a remesh of the original dwarven helmet. I cut of the (in my opinion) stupid looking horn and made a small eye slot. Stats are the same as the original dwarven helmet.

=Griffin Helmet=

This is my attempt at creating a crusaders helmet. It originally belonged to my griffin armor and I kept the name although it has nothing to do with griffins anymore. Stats are better than chainmail.

=Steel Sallet=

A sallet with bevor. Stats are slightly worse than dwarven.

=Ebony Sallet=

Nearly the same as above, only with an ebony texture and a slightly enhanced mesh. Stats are better than ebony, but worse than daedric.

=Closed Steel Helmet=

A visored, closed version of the steel helmet with a pume. Stats are slightly better than steel.

=Closed Orcish Helmet=

An evil looking orcish helmet. Stats are better than the original orcish helmet.

=Closed Mithril Helmet=

A closed version of the mithril helmet with some adjustments. Stats are better than Mithril.

__________

You can find the helmets at five different vendors all over Cyrodiil. Not every vendor has every helmet. The helmets are leveled, so you won't be able to buy the good helmets until you reach a certain level. For those who want to know exactly where and when to find the helmets:

Dwarven Helmet (level 6) Leyawiin, Dividing Line - Imperial City, Best Defense
Griffin Helmet (level 7) Chorrol, Fire & Steel - Anvil, Morvayns Peacemakers - Skingrad, Colovian Traders
Steel Sallet (level 4) Imperial City, Best Defense - Skingrad, Colovian Traders - Anvil - Morvayns Peacemakers
Ebony Sallet (level 16) Imperial City, Best Defense - Chorrol, Fire & Steel
Closed Steel Helmet (level 4) Leyawiin, Dividing Line - Skingrad, Colovian Traders - Anvil - Morvayns Peacemakers
Closed Orcish Helmet (level 11) Chorrol, Fire & Steel - Leyawiin, Dividing Line
Closed Mithril Helmet (level 11) Leyawiin, Dividing Line - Imperial City, Best Defense

2. Installation

Extract the archive into your Oblivion\Data folder. Check the 'HelmetCollection.esp' in the data files menu of the Oblivion launcher.

3. Changelog

V1.0 - initial release of the collection, the following changes were made from the single release mods:

- Icon for Dwarven Helmet fixed, now with transparency
- decreased texture file size for Dwarven Helmet
- Size, neck part, and lower part of the Griffin Helmet better and more realistic looking now
- Decreased texture file size for Griffin Helmet
- Closed Steel Helmet pume has it's own, much smaller texture instead of using the whole ebony helmet texture

v1.1 - Closed Mithril Helmet added
- stats/level restriction of griffin helmet changed (I made it too good by mistake, it was better than mithril and available at level 4, now it is better than chainmail and available at level 7)
