When I popped out of that sewer in a strange land with a dead Emperor at my back and no friends or any place to go I found friends at the Abandoned Shack on the IC Waterfront.
Running, jumping, and swimming, and desparately needing a place to rest and level up, I found I was welcome to one of the grungie bedrolls at the Shack. Not only that but if I was carrying a bunch of junk I could just drop it in the corner and it was safe till I wanted to sell it.
Now that I am rich and famous, I have given both Hillod and Dranas a makeover and a nice place to live. I can still drop by for dinner or a nap. Even after I started the Arena quest and could sleep on one of those grungie pallets, I still preferred traveling back to the Shack, and until I could afford the Shack for sale I pretty much stayed there.
BTW, you aren't putting anyone out by sleeping there. Hillod doesn't ever sleep. That leaves one bed always available.
This is a nice mod for a beginning player. All you need to do is place the esp in the Oblivion data folder and activate it when you next start your game.
