Not to criticise, but have you exhausted all the possible errors on your side before advising so adamantly against downloading a mod that has so many downloads and endorsements? Especially when the mod author has retired from modding, and can't reply or take suggestions. There are many things that could go wrong - like a corrupt download etc. Of course the mod can be broken too, but you gave hardly any details about how you have downloaded it (manually? with a manager? etc.), and under what conditions you've confirmed that it's indeed corrupted. I've actually used this mod without any issues.
Guys, I'm having an issue with the LCE-addon file. I activate both, and everything in the mod gets duplicated. Yet, if I deactivate either, there are no more duplicated, but certain creatures are missing. :\
Loaded it because it was used by another mod and loved the result. The giant spiders are really creepy. Got a surprise when an event started me turning into a were-crocodile. Thankfully I found the solution. A were-crocodile paladin would be a bizarre character to play. Thanks for all the great work.
This mod started off fine. Was enjoying the challenge of fighting the giant spiders, because they're more overpowered than the other vanilla low level creatures, but after I did the quest where all the people are invisable in the small settlement North of the Imperial City (Aelswell I think it's called) all the giant spiders I've encountered since have stayed invisable. This must just be a weird unforeseen glitch with the mod. Gonna try uninstalling then installing again and see if it fixes.
Ok installed and uninstalled and now looked in multiple caves and can't find a single spider. Hopefully it'll just take a few days of in game play for them to reappear, but if not, no giant invisible spiders is better than giant invisible spiders.
Thankfully I have now encountered more giant spiders and this time they aren't invisible. Now I'm looking forward to encountering the higher level creatures added from this mod.
same problem here, best part is uninstalling the mod doesn't fix it got double bitten, got two crocs, had to use enableplayercontrols command just to do anything and as i said uninstalling leaves me with an invisible body or moreover no body at all, i am upset to say the least, my most developed character is ruined:{
