01. Installing & Uninstalling
========================================
To install, simply extract the contents of the archive to your "Data" directory. If asked to overwrite files, choose "Yes to All". To uninstall, either delete all the files or replace them the original files.

02. Description & Information

"Book Jackets: Oblivion" by Phoenix Amon is a very nice replacer for the generic-looking books in Oblivion, especially the high-resolution version. BUT (with an empahsis on "BUT"), I didn't like the new Mysterium Xarxes textures. They ditracted me more from the game, since, as any of you who downloaded BJOB, it is a rather plain texture, without the Daedric "O" as on the original Bethesda texture.

So, with a handy little program called the GIMP, I fixed that. Extracting the loading screen Daedric "O" icon, I edited the texture so it now looks like the orignal Bethesda texture, which IMHO, is how the Mysterium Xarxes is supposed to look. If any of you haven't already realized, but the Oblivion manual, and even the game's box, look exactly like the Mysterum Xarxes.

I felt it was necessary to do this so people can enjoy the full benefits of BJOB, while still holding true to how the book is supposed to look. As this is only a texture and icon replacer, you will still need to d/l the full mod itself (which has the meshes). I have included both the Standard Resolution textures, which are set at 512x256 px, and the High Resolution 1024x512 textures which show more detail. Choose which ever you want to replace.

03. About Your Saved Games

This has nothing to do with saved games, as it only replaces textures.

04. Dependencies
========================================
None whatsoever, except that you'll need Oblivion of course ;D, and you'll also need to have BJOB (Standard or Hi-Res) fully installed in order to take advantage of the higher resolution textures. You can download a copy of BJOB (Standard Res) at TES Source, the Hi-Res version is on ElricM. Copy and paste the following links to these mods into your browser's address bar:

Firstly to Bethesda Game Studios for developing such a wonderful RPG. In spite of Oblivion's minor faults, it still is one of the best RPGs to date.

To Phoenix Amon for creating BJOB, and replacing the dull shite that Bethesda gave us.

To the GIMP, a wonderful little image-editing program that's almost as good as PS.

To my own brain for thinking up something like this.
