When I first installed Oblivion I found it's icon damn ugly (the game is so beautiful, why not the icons?) but no longer! I have created new icons based off the Oblivion symbol seen in the Oblivion Launcher, I have tried my best to keep it as close to the original icons as possible and I must say it's a great improvement. The new icon contains 16x16, 32x32 and 48x48 sizes using 32bit colours and utilising the Windows XP icon transparency unlike the old ones.
------------------------ Using the new icons ------------------------ 1.) Place the "Improved Oblivion Icons.ico" into your Oblivion folder. 2.) Find any Oblivion shortcut you want to use the new icon on and right-click it selecting properties. 3.) Click the "Change Icon..." button. 4.) Select the "Improved Oblivion Icons.ico" then click "OK" and "OK" again, now you're done!
------------------------ Permissions ------------------------ Feel free host this anywhere you want but only in it's original unmodified archive, if you want to use this in a program, installer ect feel free to but please give me a heads up.
