Acting on suggestions, and feedback from people at Planet Elder Scrolls, the "Elite Black" version of this mod is now available to the player purchasable from IC:A Fighting Chance.

It's still my favorite Legion texture, because it retains the default color. It's for people who liked the original color of the Legion armor in Oblivion.
What's used:
Original textures and meshes for the Legion armor in Oblivion.
What's been done:
Evened out the texture so it looks less like rusty iron but more like finished iron. The famous golden trimmings from my other Legion armor textures for that royal look. Color slightly darkened to give an awe inspiring feeling of authority.
Changes in 1.41:

-BugFix: Fixed default Oblivion Imperial soldiers that had missing guantlets

-Added the common Legion Armor for the soldiers
-Added the "Elite Black" version to A Fighting Chance
-Added icons for all "Elite" armor pieces
-"Elite" version now has the same stats as Ebony armor
-Updated cuirass and shield textures on the Elite Black

Installation:

1. Simply extract the contents of this package into Oblivion\Data folder.
2. Check the esp under "Data Files" and play.
Issues/Conflicts:
-----------------
-Will conflict with any mod replacing the textures of the Imperial Legion armor
-Elite armor added to merchant in a way that will not conflict with any mods affecting the merchant.
-No other known conflicts at the time of release for ver1.41.
