REQUIREMENTS and INSTALLATION
• This is a very simple vanilla mod (.esp only) that should work with any Oblivion version.
• If you are installing this manually, unpack the BCDeer.7z file and copy into your virtual store.
FEATURES
• An update to the vanilla deer levelled list, to include predators as well as deer, reducing the deer numbers around roads.
• An additional deer-only levelled list has been added, and used extensively around the Imperial Reserve, Great Forest, and The Niben Basin areas.
• A feral dog has been included to add another low level beast that behaves a little differently from the wolves.
• The strength of the predators has been limited to prevent the roads becoming lethal to NPCs.
GENERAL
• This mod was created using the Oblivion Construction Set, and cleaned using TES4Edit.
• Entirely vanilla, so does not require any script extenders - it's very simple!
• If you are running with mods that have already made changes in the same areas, or levelled lists, then use of this mod is not advised - as always, it is sensible to create a save game that you can go back to, before loading any mod.
• If you do encounter problems, it's best to simply unload this mod and continue with the vanilla levelled list.
KNOWN ISSUES
• It does marginally increase risk to NPCs travelling the roads, but I've played with this version for a while, without encountering issues.
• Any other mods changing the same levelled list, or making changes in the Imperial Reserve, Great Forest, and The Niben Basin areas, could conflict with this mod.
... Anyway, feel free to enjoy yourself with this! Use and/or change whatever you like, but please remember to give credit to this mod if you re-publish.
