The quest markers are for the chests containing the wine and are visible after you've talked to the quest giver. I chose not to place a marker for the quest giver in case you find a bottle and get the quest entry "I've come across a bottle of wine with markings I've never seen before ... I should hold onto it until I find out more." Two 'gimmick bottles' added by DLCs, conveniently available in the new homes, are not marked.
Works better if installed in a new game or when the quest still doesn't have journal entries.
If installed in a new game... The locations' map markers are also made visible (no fast travel until discovered, of course.) When you open a chest, its marker is removed.
If installed in an ongoing game... If installed after having talked to the quest giver, the location map markers will not be made visible. If you had already opened some chests before installing this, their quest markers will stay visible until you have enough bottles to complete the quest. Only the markers for newly-opened chests will be removed at once. If the quest hasn't been added to the journal, all works as if installed in a new game.
