SUMMARY:
Set the level of Daedric quest target detail from easy (very guided), medium (somewhat guided) to hard (no targets except the shrines). The purpose is to make these quests more special and challenging. Includes many quest journal updates and tweaks.

REQUIREMENTS:
- At least OBSE 16.
- Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp. There is a non-UOP version.

DESCRIPTION:
- If any ini value is out of the acceptable range, you get a warning to fix it, and processing stops.
- Edited conditions to point to the shrine once you meet the requirements to speak to the Daedra.
- Allowed option to turn off target markers for most Daedric quests to make the quests more challenging (one variable controls all).
2 (Easy) = All targets on, targets are very specific, like the base game.
1 (Moderate) = Some targets are replaced with a general location to get you to the vicinity (intended victims, souls to capture, etc.).
0 (Hard) = All targets are off except the shrine. Log entries now provide hints on where to go.
- Can use simplified requirements for Hermaeus Mora. If enabled, all you need to do is finish the other Daedric quests. In addition, there is no main quest requirement to read the book.
- Includes a bug fix to prevent a game crash when reading the Oghma Infinium from your inventory.

For example, for Azura's quest:
2 = Show the markers for the shrine and vampires.
1 = Hide the vampire markers, but now show a marker to the dungeon the vampires are in.
0 = Also hide the marker to the dungeon. The only marker shown is to the shrine.

- An exception is Hircine's quest. Once the unicorn is dead, you will have a marker until you have the horn. This is to reduce frustration in case you killed it early and didn't get the horn, or killed it during the quest and wander off. If ShowDATargets = 0 or 1, the marker will disappear once you are in the same cell as the unicorn's corpse.

Significant Changes:
- Boethia: Gave the Chosen better armor and weapons.
- Clavicus Vile: more log entries to be more complete.
- Hermaeus Mora: More information in log entries and statue feedback. Starting with V2.0, you have the option to skip the main quest requirements to start the quest and read the book.
- Hircine: The unicorn is disabled until the hunt begins. Up to 3 more Minotaurs based on your level will be added to make it a worthwhile hunt.
- Meridia: Allowed using MG01Bonemeal.
- Vaermina: allowed one more type of Black Soul Gem.

INSTALLATION:
- Extract one of the plugins to the Data folder:
-- If you have the UOP installed, use Daedric Quests Revised.esp.
-- If you do not have UOP installed, Daedric Quests Revised - no UOP.esp.
- Extract the Ini folder to the Data folder (the ini file is in the Ini folder).
- If you finished the other Daedric quests but haven't started Hermaeus Mora's quest yet, I do not recommend not updating from V1.0. You will need to complete the main quest requirement regardless of the new ini setting since it won't get set. A workaround to use the simpler Hermaeus Mora requirements is use the console command "Set DARevisedCM.SimplerMora to 1" and save the game.
- If you have not finished all the other Daedric quests yet, just overwrite and continue playing. Remember to save your INI settings if you do extract it.
- Be sure to save your ini settings before updating to the newer version.

COMPATIBILITY:
- Any mod that edits Boethia's Chosen can undo some or all of the better armor and weapons. For example, there are several "character overhaul" mods that may edit those records. You have permission to make a patch for my mod, or you can adjust the load order to keep either the appearance or gear. I suggest loading Daedric Quests Revised after those mods, since these characters appear only for the Tournament, and you should face better equipped enemies.
- May conflict with other mods that affect Daedric quests. If in doubt, check with TES4Edit and look for conflicts. Of course, feel free to make compatibility patches.
- May conflict with mods that address the Oghma Infinium game crash bug.
- Both versions include UOP fixes. The UOP-dependent version includes UOP ZNAM Combat Style values that makes the UOP a required master file.

LOAD ORDER:
- Load after Unofficial Oblivion Patch mods.
- Change the load order or your preference in case of a minor conflict. Otherwise, I recommend a patch so both mods function as you desire.

CHANGE LOG:
V1.0 = initial release.
V2.0 = New feature and various tweaks.
  - If any value is out of the acceptable range, you get a warning to fix it, and processing stops.
  - Expanded Hircine's markers for the unicorn once it is dead and you don't have the horn.
  - Standardized log entries when addressing shrines.
  - Hermaeus Mora's questline has many updates:
-- A new ini option to skip Mora's and the Oghma Infinium's requirement to progress in the main quest. If using the simpler requirement (SimplerMora = 1), all you need to do is finish the other Daedric quests.
-- Map marker is shown if the messenger summons you.
-- More fidelity to the statue's and book's feedback.
-- A fix to prevent the known game crash when reading the Oghma Infinium from your inventory (avoids needing to use the hotkey workaround or other mods). The book will disappear once you have read it and exit the inventory menu.
V2.1 = Minor edit to end the DARevisedCM quest after you have read the Oghma Infinium (instead of Mora's quest being done), since the book is the last thing affected by the ini file.
