This looks so much better than vanilla. I've added a before-and-after gif to showcase it.
The only downside is that the 4K video is quite a bit slower and not quite as smooth as vanilla. I play in 4K and it is a bit stuttery, despite having a 30-series GPU.
Regardless, it does look fantastic and it's not so stuttery that it bothers me, so I'll be keeping it. Thank you for your efforts and you have my endorsement.

Update: I tried your 2K file and can confirm that it doesn't look odd on a 16:9 display. I also took screenshots to compare the 4K and 2K videos and blew them up to 800% and I can't discern a difference between the two.
The speed of the 2K video matches vanilla so I'll actually be using that one since the visual quality looks just as good as the 4K video.

Thank you for taking the time to test the 2K/4K versions and create the comparison GIF!

Thank you for creating those videos for main menu!

Just a tip for anybody using MO2 (ro any other mod manager). If you want to faster get to main menu and don't need that short logo that are playing first before you will be able to get options to load, create new game, option or exit, then just remove that file named Oblivion iv logo.bik.

Use SMPlayer or any other video player that are free and can read bik files as video files to check which is which if you are unsure.

Hey, i'm currently working on a similar menu screen replacement. But it seems that i'm having trouble encoding the video properly. My video is also 1080p 60fps, and i used mostly default settings in RAD tools, so the file size is pretty much the same.
However when i replace the "map loop.bik" in my oblivion folder, the file takes a second or to to show up in game. The first few seconds, only a small square in the top left is displayed, with the rest of the screen beeing black (aside from the other UI elements)

Did you change any of the export settings to get yours to look right? Or do you have any other suggestions for what i could try to fix this?

Small edit: Okay nevermind, apparently the encoder didnt like the .mov file i exported from davinci resolve. With a .MP4 (h.264) it suddenly works.
