As you progress in Oblivion, some creatures gain health at a rate that is often too fast for the player to keep up with. This mod aims to improve balance and progression, and to smooth out difficulty spikes by reducing the amount of hit points creatures have.
Along with reduced total health, leveled creatures now gain less health on level ups, and stop leveling up when appropriate for their type. Endgame enemies too will stop gaining health at a point where the player most likely reaches maximum damage output. Some creatures had their damage output reduced. (It was time to finally nerf Mountain Lions) This mod affects undead, monsters, goblins, animals and daedra. They are now closer to enemy NPCs in overall difficulty and progression.
Basically I made this mod because I like vanilla Oblivion and dislike efficient leveling, changing the difficulty and other workarounds. Balance is a complicated matter, and feedback on this mod is welcome.
