Really simple, press and hold "T" to equip or unequip a torch.(maybe assign "WAIT" key to "Y")
Depending on your mods, it takes a second or two, to light and exstinguish a hand held torch!
If you don't have a torch, a torch will be appointed for you.
Some nice sound effects too.
