About this mod
Yet another mod that gives unique models/textures to unique liches
- Permissions and credits
Anyway, there are three unique liches in the base game and none of them have unique appearances. I can accept a certain level of homogeneity among the more generic enemy liches, but why does the king of Miscarcand look like every other one in the game, even after being locked in a tomb for several thousand years? That really breaks my suspension of disbelief, and I won't stand for that here.
Three liches have been changed to have lore-appropriate appearances. The King of Miscarcand is golden-skinned like the Ayleids and covered in Elven armor with a dash of welkynd stone for color. Lorgren Benirus is fully skeletal to reflect the state of his corpse in the basement. And Erandur-Vangaril, whose name sounds plausibly Dunmer to me, is made into a Dark Elf to make him look distinct.
Happy Halloween!
