About this mod
This Oblivion mod replicates the philosophy of my similarly-named Morrowind mod, and it has the same goals: To balance birthsigns while also removing all Attribute bonuses.
- Permissions and credits
UPDATE: Corrected a typo in the description of The Apprentice, The Lover, The Lord, and The Lady. Also shortened The Tower's description so as to not surpass the available text box at low resolutions.
THE GUARDIAN SIGNS
The Warrrior
- Fortify Endurance and Fortify Strength removed
- Now grants a 25-point Fortify Fatigue and 50-point Fortify Health effect
The Mage
- Fortify Magicak 75 points on Self (up from 50)
The Thief
- Fortify three Attributes removed
- Now grants a permanent 10-point Shield effect
THE CHARGES
The Apprentice
- Fortify Magicka 150 points on Self (up from 100)
The Atronach
- Fortify Magicka 100 points on Self (down from 150)
The Lady
- Fortify Endurance and Fortify Willpower removed
- New Power: Lady's Favor (Restore 500 Fatigue on Self)
- New Power: Lady's Grace (Restores all Attributes 100 points on Self)
The Lord
- Trollkin ability removed
- Blood of the North now confers a 100% Weakness to Fire while active only
The Love
- Lover's Kiss Fatigue Self-Damage removed
- New Power: Lover's Hand (Calm 100 pts for 60 seconds on Touch)
The Ritual
- Mara's Gift now also restores 200 Magicka
The Serpent
- Serpent Spell no longer damages fatigue, and also has a duration of 60 seconds.
- To compensate, the poison damage is decreased to 2 (from 3)
- It additionally inflicts;
- a 10-point Drain Strength for the duration
- a 5-point Damage Fatigue for the duration
The Shadow
- Moonshadow duration increased to 120 seconds
The Steed
- Steed Birthsign Fortify Speed removed
- Now grants Resist Paralysis 50% and Fortify Fatigue 100 points
The Tower
- Tower Warden is reworked and has the following effects for 120 seconds;
- Reflect Damage 5%
- Reflect Spell 5%
- Resist Magic 5%
- Resist Normal Weapon 5%
