If so, Phintias has recently acquired a copy for sale at the First Edition in the Imperial City. If you can brave the horrors that lie within and survive the ordeal that awaits you, you may well find riches on the other side...

It is best to go into this mod blind. It's a very short horror-themed mod with a gold reward at the end of it. If you really want to know what it does, there is a spoiler box below.

I've created a "spooky" mod where the player will be chased around the map by a creepy guard statue. If the player stands still for too long or the player looks away from the statue, the statue will move closer to the player. If the statue gets too close to the player, it will kill them. PS - If the player tries to use a horse or stays in one place too long, the statue will kill them straight away.
You start the mod by buying the book "Dead Man's Wish" from the First Edition in the Imperial City. On equiping it, you will get a menu with 3 options which determine the behaviour of the statue upon contact with the player. The first option will just kill the player. The second option will make the statue throw the player the first 2 times in touches them and kill them on the 3rd touch. The final option will make the statue warp the player to a random cell.
If you can survive for 1 real life hour, then the statue will go away and the player will be given 500 gold for their troubles.
The 500 gold will not be given if the player opts for the "cell warp" mode as the statue cannot kill the player in this mode and it is just for fun/a challange to avoid the statue.
Big thanks to everyone on the XObse discord server for helping beta test this.
