1.01 Changelog

- Replace all statues of the Nine Divines into statues of Mehrunes Dagon (via mesh replace, so it should be compatible with mods like Better Cities)
- Replace every wayshrines to Oblivion blood fountains and placed on each one a Dremora encounter - only mortals that defeat a Dremora deserve Dagon's blessings!


Description


This mod changes the world of Oblivion how it could look like after the Mythic Dawn win the Oblivion Crisis. Mankar Camoran was being killed, but there were still enough powerful members of the Mythic Dawn who were taking the opportunity to take the power over the Empire after Martin Septim's death.

One of them was a Colovian Warlord: Titus Mede I. In his campaign to seize power he became successful head of the Mythic Dawn and Emperor of Tamriel as well. He impressed Mehrunes Dagon and the Dawn fraction with his cunning tactical skills and mercilessness in the battle against all unbelievers and worshippers of the Nine. His cruelty and fatal effectiveness in all his advances has made him rising up fast and finally become the emperor under Mehrunes Dagon's blessings. The Dragon Fires are extinguished and the dark power of the Daedra took place.

One of his Emperor Mede's first orders was to turn chapels of the nine into Mythic Dawn temples with gates into the realm of Mehrunes Dagon. Every Imperial ciziten has there a chance to proof its value: Survive, entertain Lord Dagon and become wealthy or die by the hand of his Daedric monsters. Also all the people who cannot pay their tributes to the Dawn's Empire will be thrown into the Oblivion Gate in the local chapel as a punishment. The rules are the same: Either they end as fodder for the Daedra or as ascended warriors with Dagon's blessings and a bunch of gold as a reward!


It's a new society based on the ideals of Mehrunes Dagon: ambition, mercilessness, strength. Those who are too weak or too merciful to deal with will be crushed!


Features

  • Changes all Chapels in Cyrodiil and the Temple of One into temples of the Mythic Dawn. All of them contain an Oblivion Gate from where you can travel into Dagon's Realm. But beware: Once entered, the only way out is to find the gate in the realm that bring you back. If you survive, you'll get Dagon's blessings and gold.
  • Former Priests and healers wear Mythic Dawn robes
  • Change the Imperial Council hall into a throne room for the Dawn's Emperor Titus Mede I.
  • Destroys the Weynon Priory
  • Change the Gottlesfront Priory into a refugee camp for all those who are pursued, for the weak and sick who would be thrown into an Oblivion Gate, priests of the Nine and all other people who have no chance to survive under the Dawn's regime

Installation

  • Download file and copy content of "Empire of the Dawn" into your "Data folder"
  • Activate Plugin in Oblivion Launcher/NMM/etc
