I really want to use this mod, but there are 2 annoying bugs. The first is when the smoke shader for some reason switches to my character after getting off the Shadowmere. And the second is when, after loading to another location or moving quickly, the smoke shader disappears from the Shadowmere.
The black fog disappears whenever I fast travel between outdoors locations. Weird thing is, no need to disable/enable; just by fast traveling into a city and coming out it restores the black smoke to all its glory. Thats a bit annoying. Its neither compatible with Universal Horse Armor (it doesnt "change" the horse as the DLC does, but the moment you place an armor in Shadowmere the fog will also fade). I choose smokey stallion of death over any horse armor, so I wonder if theres any solution for the fast travel issue. Anyway a much needed mod, good work
Just to alert any future users of this mod, like others have already said the language of the submenus in game (so basically the text boxes that pop up) are changed to Spanish no matter what language the main game is in. This can probably be "fixed" if you know how to (i don't). So unless the creator of this mod is willing to fix the issue, i wouldn't use the mod. Unless you are playing in Spanish. lol
I am going to try it out but the mod is very dirty, with 2000+ ITMs.
- name: 'TrueShadowmere.esp' dirty: - <<: *quickClean crc: 0x347E03D3 util: '[TES4Edit v4.0.3d](https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11536)' itm: 2014 clean: - crc: 0x2D050943 util: 'TES4Edit v4.0.3d' This also applies to TrueShadowmere-NoWaterWalking.esp, as well. Even after automatic cleaning in TES4Edit, there are still hundreds of leftover modified scripts that have nothing to do with the mod.
Very dirty indeed after installing this mod it changes some prompts such as the prompts to a foreign languagesuch as answering the question when first entering the Sanctuary in Cheydinhal, and obtaining the power of the Ayleid wells it's a really cool mod but it caused many problems in my game.

Hope now the mod is cleaner.
