I got this mod to get a matching hood to ze wmazing warlock robe, but then i saw it also adds a new NPC to a rather NPC void game- And this NPC has a very realistic shedule! i am very happy. Great Work!

Try using the Mythic Dawn texture from Sergei's Robe Compilation, here:

The robe looks just like an ordinary robe, but in different colors. Maybe you should try an armor made for battle. Something like in NWN 2.

You know, its funny how people keep critisizing the quality of the robe without at all taking it into account that Phobos also created a whole new NPC, with it's own schedule, to display it.

First of all, not EVERYONE can retexture. Many people who aren't computer saavy, won't even try to figure out the programs needed because they seem too complex. Personally, I'm just now trying to learn. The first time I looked at the CS for Morrowind, I was overwhelmed by how complicated it seemed to be. It was about a year later when I read a simple explanation in someones README file on how to fix a particular bug in a mod (the moogle female hand not working in the mogmod) that got me interested in making mods. I bring this up because if I made a simple mod, and only was put down for it, I would never upload another. Rather than telling someone how you could do the same thing in a couple of minutes, and saying it sucks, you could suggest maybe adding a symbol to the back of the robe, or an enchantment for it . . . or something constructive. Besides, a lot of the gamers who can't do mods, may want just a red robe, and haven't found it yet.

My point to this rant, some of the best mods I run are also the simplest. Every modder has to start somewhere. If this modder keeps working at it, later on he may post the coolest robes ever made! Try not to put down someone elses work just cause you already can do the same. Thanks. <img class=">

Unfortunately Jasper, thsi is not only a section for complimenting a mod, but this is also the section for giving feedback about a mod. I happen to have a say in both parts.

First of all, this is a fantastic mod for the general Mage or magic-casting character at large. Sure it's a re-texture of the Archmage's Robes, but a good deal of mods out there are re-textures, so if you complain to the maker if this mod, complain to them too!

On the feedback side of things, it could use a bit more detail. Perhaps that's all it needs for others to enjoy t his mod.
