I enjoy this mod a lot, thank you, but I sometimes get guards who are barefoot. Would there be any potential fix for this?

      Glad you liked it.
I gave the Leyawiin units less armour to offset their weapons, and I could not decide on which lower-class shoes to give them, so I left them without.
They sometimes go wading into the water anyway, so it sort of makes sense.
All others should have boots.  If they do not, then it was probably broken in battle and auto-unequipped.

Just give them fur or leather boots, no?

In fact, WHY aren't they wearing the same stuff as the standard guards to begin with?

They sometimes go wading into the water anyway, so it sort of makes sense.

      It really doesn't.

Really nice mod, it's nice to see  the nearby settlement getting some protection. They have saved my life at times when I was attacked and other times arrested me when I thought I gotten away, it's all good!

A really awesome and immersive idea!
But do they re-spawn if they should get killed by randomly spawning high-level creatures?

Here is a rough outline of the their schedules:
      Bravil - 2 shifts - 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am.
Bruma - leaves city at 8am and returns at 10pm.
Cheydinhal - leaves for Harlun's Watch at 10am - stays there until 5pm.
Chorrol - leaves for Weyon Priory at 12pm, moves on to Odil Farm at 4pm, returns to Chorrol at 8pm.
Leyawiin - both leave for Water's Edges and Blankenmarch at 12pm, return at 8pm.
Skingrad - Leaves for the outside cemetary at 8pm, returns to guard lower east gate at 8am.

I believe the Legion already guards the roadside inns.  I always see them there.

A bit of a follow up - I double checked the road side inns, and found one without a guard.
Added a guard to that inn, which also patrols Pells Gate - https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50569
      Thanks for the suggestion.

Can we have Archers on the City Walls? That would be nice.

+1 to this idea, that'd be pretty neat. Though I suppose they'd never be able to come down from the walls, because I don't think there's any stairs or ladders leading up to them.

To be honest, i think there was once a mod, which did exactly that, putting archers on the city walls. But i can't find it anymore....

I looked into this, however as ChiefInspectorBeandip pointed out, there is no wall/battlement/tower top access.  I can place archers on the battlements inside the cities, but they will just be standing there doing nothing, and if there is an enemy inside the city - ie Mythic Dawn agent, or rampaging wood elf etc. - they will jump off the wall, and cannot get back on, if they did not die in the process.

Would have to look into some sort of ladder resource to create this.  It is not a bad idea.

I saw a mod on this site that covered the rooftops of the IC market district with archers a while back, I think that is what you may be referring to.

Better Cities has Wall Archers, as well as tower stairs for them to get up and down and to to and from barracks.  They can been toggles on and off for each city if they are causing FPS problems.

RIGHT...that was the mod. Unfortunately i can't install BC in my current mod setup. If we just had the archers from BC....

I would probably turn these into several different squads of 8 to 10 guards per location. This is Cyrodiil after all, lots of powerful creatures everywhere.

Large squads tend to start fighting among themselves in combat due to them hitting each other by accident.  Smaller groups of 3 to 4 tend to work better from what I have seen from other mods.  I may consider adding more guards in the future to this mod or maybe make a seperate one.
